If you ever play the streak for the cash game on ESPN, 91.4% are taking MU so far

I always get concerned whenever the general public "loves" a certain team!

Me too, especially when it's more of a home game for FSU.

As much as a 4 hour drive can be considered a home game.

But you have to think that there are many more Florida State fans in Florida (regardless of how far from Tallahassee it is) than there are Marquette fans.

MU gimp ONE

for as much as i love the publicity and the media love as we had in years past... i really love being the underdog.  the one that "surprises" the media when we knock off a ranked opponent or have a player with an unbelievable stat line.  it always gives the team a little more of a chip on their shoulder when they are the underdog.

Except that I'm thinking that many FSU alumni don't necessarily live in Tallahassee and might have a much shorter drive.

Chicos - you are 100% correct.  A ton of alums in Orlando for FSU and throughout the state.  This is definitely a home game for FSU, and they are a little angry over the spanking they got from the Gators yesterday.

it's clear the voting public must think Scott Christopherson is still playing for MU,  how else could we be such unanimous favorites?

What's your deal with Christopherson?  The kid decided that he needed a new change, did it, and is playing quite well on a very talented team.  Iowa St has a top 10 lottery pick in Brackens, and are a very tough team...

This is now multiple postings where you have attempted to bash Christopherson, so whats the deal?  Its annoying, not needed, and you wonder why a dozen posters have blocked your postings.

Unfortunately the public was wrong.

They usually are.  As somebody told me when I moved from Milwaukee in 1993:

Well, Vegas isn't right now either

Ah, WRONG!

1) Wynn Resorts Ltd.'s glimmering $2.3 billion Encore opened on Dec. 22, 2008. Visitors gawked at the features and locals marveled at the lavish interiors. Analysts saluted the newest Strip megaresort.

2) MGM Mirage CityCenter will begin opening (in phases) next Tuesday.  With a total cost of approximately $11 billion, CityCenter is the largest privately financed development in the United States.  It will employee 12,000 people.

"Every component of CityCenter received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, making the project America's largest sustainable development." Las Vegas Review-Journal (11/29/09)

3) CLEVELAND CLINIC: Hospital considers LV center....

The Cleveland Clinic, consistently called one of the best hospitals in the nation, is once again exploring the possibility of building a medical center in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, the clinic announced that it would staff and operate what's now known as the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The center is located in Symphony Park, Las Vegas' much-touted downtown redevelopment project.
