IMO, I think that Louisville is a very winnable game in our second to last game at home this year. After just watching them lose to UNLV, they are basically the same team as last year minus their two best players, Earl Clark and Terrance Williams. Granted Pitino's teams tend to be totally different in March than in November (they lost to UNLV last year and still ended up as a #1 seed), but this team does not have two NBA lottery picks as last year's did. In any event, they certainly did not look like the #16 team in the country today.

What the frick!  That is two years in a row.  I think Buzz should call Kruger and find out how he does it.

UL also managed only a 9 point win over Morgan State.

But if you look over the years they typically have 3 or 4 non-conference losses but turn it around by conference time.  The last time they had a strong non-conference was 2006, and that year they went 6-10 in the Big East.

That.  It happens every single year.  They'll probably drop another winnable game or two by mid-January, but they will be at least three times as good by the time we play them, guaranteed.

Hopefully Maymon and Williams will learn to contribute as well.

Also, Butler's improvements have not really leveled off yet.

Maymon learns to contribute?  I think he's going to improve, indeed....but to say he's not already contributed is way off.  This is a true freshman who's given valuable minutes already.  Is he scoring 15 and 8?  nope...but let's be realistic here, he's off to a solid start.

I really worry about what me might say about Vander next year. I mean he is going to be the point guard and will turn the ball over, that is part of being a freshman. Let's calm down on Maymon and the young guys I think that Buzz will continue to have the guys improve over the year..unlike Crean

Vander is not going to be the PG, he'll be playing off the ball.

We will have Junior distributing the ball.

Gosh, too bad for slick Rick the rapist and Looserville.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

GGGG

Not to mention that there is a fairly decent chance that Vander comes off the bench to start next year.

Knowing Pitino's character, Kruger probably has dirt on him and is leveraging it well.  If we really wanted to sink to that level it shouldn't be hard to find some of our own.  ;)

I think Kruger is simply a better coach than Pitino.
