The link in the schedule wiki goes to SD State not SD.

http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_basketball/south_dakota_state

I love it when people point out errors in the wiki.  Gives me a chance to say this...

Every MUScoop user can edit the wiki.   Click the "login" button in the upper right corner, use your MUScoop username and password, and then the wonderful world of fixing errors and adding information to the wiki is at your fingertips.

On the particular page you're referencing, click the "edit this page" tab at the top, scroll to the line that sez:
   [[South Dakota State|South Dakota]]
And change it to say:
   [[South Dakota]]

Easier than putting butter on a slice of bread.  While you're editing, there are links to help you out with the syntax.

Yeah, we're going to have to either de-link that or create a page for South Dakota.

The 09-10 schedule page is locked so that only admins can edit it.  That limits me to only a "show pagesource" tab and omits the "edit" tab.

It was only locked because I was "editing" it while creating my instructions.  Should be unlocked now.  Either that or you need to login.

You're right, I wasn't logged in.  I had assumed that we had SSO between the wiki and forums, my fault.

Reminds me of the MEMPHIS and MEMPHIS STATE "confusion"...

Damn schools. Make up your mind!

Maybe it South Dakota can re-route to South Dakota State (or vice-versa) - so as not to force a total revision of all the links contained in the MUWiki.

Huh?  No, tonight we're playing the University of South Dakota (http://usd.edu).  Previously, we have played South Dakota State (http://sdstate.edu).

From the Marquette game notes, prior to today...
QuoteMU has claimed each of the three previous meetings, with the first coming at home in the second game of the 1966-67 campaign. The two teams also met in home-and-home action in 1967-68, the first season McGuire led Marquette to the NCAA Tournament

Since none of those dates are listed for SD State, it looks like we just need a distinct page.

I wonder why SDSU doesn't go by "Brookings" ala UWM?

GGGG

One thing we can all agree on...going 40+ years between renewing our rivalry with the Coyotes is just too damn long!!

rocky_warrior

Can't believe it's been so long since we've been to Vermillion, SD.  Seems like just yesterday.

??? That wouldn't make any sense - the school in Brookings is the only "South Dakota State".

Right...like there are two public universities in South Dakota.

For the record, there's actually 6 public universities that I can think of in SD (only SDSU and USD are D1):

University of South Dakota
South Dakota State University
Northern State University
Black Hills State University
South Dakota School of Mines
Dakota State University
