I remember NateDogg had posted it either on Rivals or MarquetteHoops and it was taken down pretty quickly.  So was the Crean comments about two guys hugging during Orientation before the '03 season.

That is certainly possible. The games around the citation date were pretty ugly for that particular player. A traffic ticket was probably the last thing he needed.

Basically, a freshman won fanatic tickets at the Orientation picnic.  He was over excited and was jumping up and down and hugging a guy standing next to him, pretty harmless.  Crean said something to the effect that this was a Catholic university and we don't do that here.  It was reported in the MU Tribune the following issue with an apology from Crean.  It was posted on the old Rivals board and was promptly taken down.

If  was the player in question, or just about anyone, I'd punch nate dawg too.

You all know my feelings about Crean, but he shouldn't have had to apologize for making a freaking joke.
