Posted 6/17 I sure hope he is right, would be great for our "rebuilding" "reloading" year.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks MU makes the Tournament next season.

Interesting, Lunardi has us matched up in the first round against Minnesota.  That would be interesting.......

Nobody has seen MU yet though.  While I appreciate the press we are a complete unknown next year except for Hayward.

The Tourney would be an accomplishment.  With that said, I can't make any expectations without any information about the new guys.

I think Lunardi shares my optimism about this team.  I feel, despite a lot of unknowns, that we can be a tournament-caliber team next season.

Bracketology in January is worthless.

Bracketology in June?

Let's see where we are after we play 10-12 games.  To make the tourney we will need to win conference games on the road.  Young teams have a hard time winning games on the road.  Let's talk tourney after we win a BE game on the road.

+1 guys, lets relax and put it back in the ol' pants until they tip it off this fall

On top of that, how many opportunities will MU have to get to play against "resume building" teams.  Pitt UConn, and UL will be drained.  I don't have faith in ND or Georgetown or WV to deliver.  Conference play will be weak next season.

Regardless of how strong the conference is next year, 10-8 will get us into the conversation.

Lunardi is an over-paid bum  When it comes down to it, anyone who knows NCAA b-ball, does their homework, and has half a brain can "predict" at least 60 of the 64/65 teams.  I work my ass off to make ends meet.  I need this guy's job and no matter what 60 out of 64 (65?) times I'd be correct without doing much "work" considering the guaranteed bids, the arguably guaranteed at-large bids, etc...not a bad guarantee.

Take this guy's JUNE opinion for what it's worth.  I wish his salary would go to a deserving person.

Go MU.

This is why Bracketology is not his full time job.

That's what makes America great. Create a niche and exploit it for all it is worth.  I submit the biggest culprit...Mel Kiper, Jr.  He wrote it and we are discussing it.  Mission accomplished, check cashed, peace out.

Making the tourney next year would be a major accomplishment - I would be thrilled.  For some reeason, I'm optimistic about our chances, but as has been said so often above, we really don;t know much about this team and how they will play together and how they will paly against some very stiff competition.

GO MARQUETTE!

Don't be so bitter.  Too bad that you never exploited your ability to predict 60 of the 64 teams like he did.

yeah, might as well get angry at the weatherpeople! (unless of course, you are, then no offense intended, although weather.com does let me down occasionally)

weather.com is garbage. wunderground.com is the way to go.

Lets remember where things were going into the 05/06 season. Granted we may have had Novak and an experienced bench, but remember how we shocked the Big East in our first season, even thought most thought we'd be down at the bottom with DePaul and USF. I think we can be a surprise again.

I hear that George Webb predicts the Brewers will win 12 in a row this year!
