I'm afraid that this may fuel the rumor that one of the JUCO's is considering a one and done season but that is not my intention.  I was just curious about how many NBA players had gone through the JUCO/Prep School route to the NBA and I found this list of HS and JUCO NBA players:

http://www.nba.com/draft2007/hsjc.html

There are quite a few who went directly from prep school but I remember that Steve Francis was at a JUCO (two actually) before going to Maryland for a year then to the draft.  Im just curious how often this actually happens. Does anyone know who else has taken that route (Prep/Juco to Mid/high Major to Draft) or know of a resource to find that out?

Thanks

Has a link to all NBA players and the colleges they came from (before entering the NBA).

At a glance, here are the JUCOs listed:
Barton County CC -Alexsander Radjievoic (sp)
Butler County CC - Stephen Jackso n
City College of San Francisco - Bill Calhoun
Hawthorne Junior College - Hawthorne Wingo
Indian Hills Community College - Ernest Brown
Northeast Miss Community College - Qyntel Woods

There are many others.

Also, there may be "Colleges" which may not be 4-year institutions, but 2-year ones.

Not really an impressive list. Then again, the two best players in the NBA, LeBron and Kobe didn't go to college at all.

There are more Jucos that transferred to 4 year schools that got drafted.  Straight from Juco to NBA though, agreed, not that impressive
