I felt like we looked like the better team today, despite the silly accident of stepping over the line.  The team made some great halftime adjustments and we had some exceptional player contributions:

Great showing by DJ - gutted our 17 minutes!
Acker played great in the 2nd half
Lazar, Matthews and Mcneal looked possessed in the final 8 minutes.
Butler was Ok today
Burke played one of his better games - 10 boards

English only scored 2 pts in the 2nd half - granted game winning FTs

Sorry to see these 4 seniors go -  it is unfortunate that these guys had extremely bad luck over the past 2 years in the 2nd round.  A made shot here or there could have made the difference between  a "Good" team and super stardom.

james should not have played, but it was sure nice seeing him in a uniform.

I'm thankful to have seen jerel and wes go out playing at their best. they played the second half they way they did most of the season, and I'm glad I got a reminder. thanks again guys.

I think you all have a lot to be proud of. Certainly Marquette fans could have hoped for a better ending for Dwight, Dominic, Wesley, and Jerel but they played incredibly hard inspite of the adversity that they had to overcome with Dominic's injury. I wish you all the best going forward with Buzz, I think he's going to keep Marquette at the top of the Big East for many years to come.

Thanks MizzouSteve - and beat the hell out of Memphis.

Tale of two halves.  In the first half we were outclassed, out everythinged.  Very much did not look like the better team.  In the second half, we did.

Thankful for everything those guys gave this year and over their careers. They went out like true Warriors.

Amen... time to focus on the positive.  Great year with a lot of excitement.  These guys went out as Warriors and the best part was that DJ got to end his MU career on the court with his teammates.

Seniors... thanks for the great memories!
