niq comes back in time for the tourney. freakish athletes have a track record of coming back from injuries freakishly fast i.e. jerry rice from his knee injury and t.o. from his leg break... both in about half of the recommended recovery time (jerry maybe even less). does dom have any chance of being back in a month? or more if we can win once or twice first?

dwaderoy2004

ummm zero.  the recovery is set at about 3 months.  so even half that time is mid april.  not to even mention jeopardizing his long term health and career in the process.

Our best hope for Dom's recovery being quick is that it's quick enough to work out for NBA teams.

Well, they could use that special machine that I saw on Star Trek that generates a beam that heals broken bones in a matter of seconds.  If they used that, he could suit up for Louisville!

He probably got the hairline fracture last season while practicing his karate moves for Midnight Madness. Might come back early if Crean's hyperbaric chamber could be used provided nobody has purchased it yet on Ebay. Otherwise TC could use his ESPN connections to get the right karma for a quick return.

If you use the joke too often, it becomes stale and stupid.

reinko

4ever isn't joking.
Surprised he didn't blame the hairline fracture on some spilled diet pepsi.

You sir, have a talent.  Now lets just find more lucrative ways to exploit it. ;D

Credit where credit is due, even if you bumped your own thread :D

KC_Warrior

Love it.  You were right, we were wrong.  Now let's all celebrate this unbelievable news and watch DJ, once again, lead this team.

you never really called anything.  you just asked if there was a chance.  You made no prediction.

well you made this prediction hahahahahahah. c'mon give the guy some credit where credit is due

dwaderoy2004

what does the guy get credit for?  For asking a question, he had no answer to?  He made NO predictions.  it would be like me saying this:

"What are the chances of Marquette winning a National Title in the next 5 years?  Winning programs have a tendency to win national championships, i.e., UNC and Duke.  Do we have any chance of winning a National Title in the next 5 years"

...and then claiming I predicted it if we actually did win a National Championship.

I'll gladly man up and say I was wrong.

However, based on the way James played and moved in general, I will say he should not have played on Sunday.

I think he was calling the people that said "umm.. zero chance", which you did.  He said it was a possibility, you wrote him off like it was nothing.  Instead of owning up, above is your response.
