I don't like the argument that we are both undefeated right now so we should cheer for UCONN.  Right now doesn't mean anything.  No one gives us an award for being in sole possession of first after 8 games.

Take for example half way through the baseball season when the Cardinals are ahead of the Cubs and Brewers.  When the Cards and Brewers play I'm going to cheer for the Cardinals every time.  Why?  Because I know in the end the Cubs and Brewers will be there at the top and the Cardinals will fade away.

Your decision should be based on who you think will have the better record at the end of the season.  If you think Louisville is that team that will have the better record then you are right to cheer for UCONN.  I have no problem with that argument.

But to want UCONN to win just so we can be in first place after 8 games in stupid.  They don't put up banner's for that.  Please no Crean banner jokes.

I will be cheering for UCONN.  After the game on Monday, I see more losses for UCONN than Ville.

UCONN's losable games
Pitt @ home
Pitt away
MU away

Ville's losable games
ND away (but I think they win this 7 of 10 times)
Gtown away
MU @ home
WV away

UCONN will probably lose 2 of the 3 games I have above, giving them 3 losses without accounting for a loss to Ville.  I think Ville will lose 2 of those 4 games max, which would only give them 2 losses in conference without a loss to UCONN this Monday.

In my opinion this is the only game Uconn stands a chance of losing. Sure they play Pitt twice, but Pitt is not going to beat Uconn with their 6'8" foul prone center. Our only chance to finish first is for Uconn to lose tonight. I predict that Uconn wins this game by at least 12 points.

Agreed.

I will be cheering for UConn.  L'ville just makes me sick to my stomach anytime I think of them, and aside from that their schedule is "cupcake" (in BE terms anyways) aside from MU the rest of the season, so I think we need them to lose this one.  I think UConn is incredible (your foolish if you don't think so), but I see them being more likely to lose one more this season between the 3 total games they have with Pitt and MU (Pitt 2, and 1 with MU).  I think UConn losing one of those 3 games is way more likely than L'ville losing one of their games the rest of the season.  Go Huskies tonight at least.

WE ARE MARQUETTE!!!

After watching the first half I maintain I want Louisville to win. UCONN is making them look silly.  UCONN will be tougher to beat than Louisville.

I will never vote for UL unless it is to disband a school from the NCAA

UCONN up 12 at the break.  They look impressive.  Saying that, I am still pulling for them.  I just believe UCONN has a tougher slate than U of L's.  So, giving the redbirds a loss tonight will help down the road.

GO MU - Win the Big East.

+1
I had initially voted that I wanted UCONN to win because UL has an easier schedule.  After seeing the first half I think the Warriors can beat UL on the road easier that UCONN at the BC.  UCONN looks like the best team in the BEast - besides MU of course!
