Rico and news dreams spammming "Marquette sucks/will lose" 10 plus times literally every game to "mock the trolls" is amusing to many scoopers for some reason. Even though they themselves have become the trolls. I honestly don't get the appeal of such a schtick. you don't really see this garbage on other boards but here it's celebrated so yeah...it's just so excessive but oh well ... Marquette sucks by the way.. I'm  just mocking the trolls so it's great

Shaka said in his postgame presser that Damarius might have the most upside of anyone on the team.

I fully expect he and Royce to pressure Joplin and Benny into playing better, because those 2 will be on the floor if they continue to struggle.

Damarius is a freshman getting over multiple injuries and getting g his first playing time on the road against a high major.  He showed enough to give hope and he looked ragged.   Both can be true.   Enjoy the journey.

Royce and Damarius, if several things break right and in Marquette's favor, will likely both be 3 year starters at MU, and that is VERY hard to do in this current Shaka era.

Need several things for that to become a possibility, health and NBA amongst them.

We've only seen 4 minutes of live ball action for Owens, but I'm comfortable saying that the two of them will likely be starters next season if their trajectory continues and they fully buy in, which seems like it's already happening

The board is hard to get engaged in these days. I will never put someone on ignore but find myself spending a lot less time on scoop. Only downside, I am less engaged with the team/program going to the season and need to find an outlet to get my excitement level up.

Banning the polarizing content (politics) will lower engagement across the site.  But maybe that's for the better.
