I feel this is a good reminder how times flies. I'm going ALL OUT in my Pickleball league tomorrow, injuries and all.

Saw him in February at the memorial for a mutual friend's mom in Kalamazoo. It was a huge event so I didn't have a chance to talk to him. Had no idea he was kind of a recluse. My buddy whose mom was being remembered says Chris speaks highly of his time at MU.

My first date with my wife was a Bucks / Hawks game and "Woody" was playing the best ball of his career at the time.

I was friends with Pieper a little bit in college and Chris would tag along every once in a while.  Really nice guy but SUPER quiet / shy.

Both Crawford and Richard Shaw were drafted as pitchers. Shaw was with the Dodgers organization, which was odd as he always wore a Giants hat around campus.

I'm a big fan of Jimmy Mac. And I think that if he's sensing that Chris doesn't want to be publicly found, Jim needs to hush up. Fine if he choses to keep trying to connect with an old teammate, but no need for these updates, except maybe "thanks for the ideas, I'm reaching out to see if Chris responds." If he respects Chris, he'll respect his choice to stay out of the public eye.
