The Lens

In the KenPom (tracked) Era (2002-Present) these have been our fewest total loss seasons:

2003 --- 6 losses (0-1 Conf Tourney, 4-1 NCAAs)
2002 --- 7 losses (2-1 Conf Tourney, 0-1 NCAAs)
2012 --- 8 losses (0-1 Conf Tourney, 2-1 NCAAs)
2013 --- 9 losses (0-1 Conf Tourney, 3-1 NCAAs)

(2007, 2008, 2009 & 2019 all had 10 losses)

We sit at 6

how many more losses do we have in us?

I think we end up with 8

4-1 in reg season
3-0 at BET
3-1 in NCAAs

30-8 sounds like a respectable season.

So Elite Eight?  Ambitious but why not!

Let's stick with 6. I like that number.

I'm ok with 7, as long as loss #7 comes in February.

heck, along those lines I'd take 8 as long as the two extra only happen in February!

cheebs,

If only one more loss I would prefer in February as well. Not exactly sure why someone would want one additional loss to happen in April, but different strokes for different folks.

Only meant that if we are to lose a 7th game I would rather it happen as late as possible. Can't you admit that would be a hell of a run?

I'll take a loss @ Creighton followed by a 12 game winning streak.  I'm not greedy.

If we don't lose our last six, I'm pretty good with that.

The only games in April are the semifinals on Saturday the 1st and the championship on Monday the 3rd.

This literally means you'd rather lose in the final 4 than win the national championship.  :o

I wasn't impressed by the math classes I took at MU and it shows here in this thread.

I was in the College of Communication so I wasn't impressed with any of the classes I took at MU.

The standard joke for VCU alums in Virginia when asked where they went to college by snobby UVA grads is "Oh, I didn't go to college. I went to VCU."

In Charlottesville, people sometimes ask "So, where are you on the Charlottesville Snooty Index?"
