2016-17 season. Markus Howard hands down. (BUT, JaJuan Johnson was the best player because he was the only player who played defense, top 20 steal rating, probably was Wojo's fault Markus wasn't the best, both of them should have played more.)
2017-18 season. Lean Markus Howard. (Rowsey was the best player.)
2018-19 season. Sam Hauser.
2019-2020 vs 2020-2021. Markus Howard.
Pros. Clearly Sam Hauser.

Is this meant to be teal?  Ive been a Sam supporter and defender many times, but come on.

Besides Markus not playing at Marquette in 20-21, you're saying that in 18-19 when Markus averaged 25-4-4 and shot 40.5% from 3 and was BE POY and Consensus Second Team AA that Sam was the better player? 

I also loved what he brought to the team, but I don't buy Rowsey as better than Markus that year.  Markus could do everything Rowsey could and was better and more effective at creating his own shot, hence why he shot a much higher percentage (on more volume) from inside the arc that year.
