Saw this on Instagram... The demo company had a camera inside the BC as they brought it down.

And not a single Buzz game mentioned.  That's how you know this is Chicos.

As an aside, anyone remember the dudes who dressed in gorilla suits for that '96 Memphis game?  Mike Deane said he'd pick up their dry cleaning bill on the postgame show.  Good times.

You just joined in November and know of "chicos" a week later even though I hadn't come back yet....classic.  Yup, a lot of us come back as different posters....eh.

Here's the latest in the BC destruction from this week

"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire

100% rubble as of today.  The last section that came down was the upper northeast corner - packed with students on the best days and the site of many a tumbleweed against directional schools in November.  RIP.

You got to love the writing by JSOnline. "The Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee, formerly home of the Milwaukee Bucks"
They seem to be missing Marquette and the Milwaukee Admirals. The Pettits were instrumental in getting the Bradley Center built.

When does the construction for the new MU football stadium begin in that spot?

What's going up in its place? Hopefully not more parking garages.

Democratic National Convention event tents.

...and parking lots.

But longer range, see here:
https://urbanmilwaukee.com/2019/03/15/eyes-on-milwaukee-bucks-unveil-master-plan-for-park-east/

They talk about the plans for the entire area surrounding the Fiserv Forum, including where the Bradley Center was.

I believe in the future the plan is to tear down the Bradley Center parking garage. Hate to see that happen.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Turner Hall is really a pretty building architecturally.

Is that a soccer field tucked-in among the new buildings?

That picture really shows the worst part of the BC...the fact that there were so many seats in the upper deck...my goodness!

.

would have made a great hockey stadium...that's what lloyd and jane really wanted.  saw many a wave soccer game there, not from upper deck however.

That's just green space on top of a large parking garage.  The whole thing is conceptual only anyway, not actual proposals.
