Looking forward to a great final season for D Wade. He is going to give it everything he has.

A great representative for MU basketball.

Congratulations DWade! Thank you for everything you did for Marquette and the game of basketball.

That March 22nd ticket at the Chupacabra Arena is gonna be a hot one.

I guess you are assuming that Marquette won't be playing in the NCAA tournament at that time.
Have some patience, FFS.

It's okay, as a 1-seed we should be playing at the closest spot to home which would put us in Des Moines. Des Moines plays on Thursday, so wades can see us in Des Moines on Thursday and D-Wade in Milwaukee on Friday before returning to Des Moines again Saturday.

That's assuming they send (1) Kansas to Tulsa, (1) Kentucky & (2) Tennessee to Columbus, (1) Gonzaga to SLC, (2) Duke & (2) UNC to Columbia, and (2) Villanova to Hartford.

Just trying to plot out Greta's first NCAA Tournament trip in advance ;)

(Also helps that there really won't be much competition for Des Moines. Though it may be viewed as a good second site for numerous teams that would have Columbus at the top of their list.)

Just figuring I won't have to worry about the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, I'll wait to attend those for the S16 and E8.

Plus if our first round game does clash with that game, hopefully the Bucks will be in the middle of a push for a top seed in the Playoffs and I can unload the tickets to Badger fans who are waiting until Tuesday for their NIT game for more than what I paid for the tickets now.

I thought Wade didn't want to do the whole farewell tour thing. Didn't he say that after watching Kobe's final season? Best of luck to him, and glad to know we'll get another chance to see him, but seems an odd choice to announce it if he didn't like the way it was handled when a peer like Kobe did the same.

It took real courage for D Wade to make this clip. It shows character and strength. It shows a mature person who weighs the trade-offs in life. He has earned the right to have a goodbye season.

Like us all he will continue to learn about himself, his family and life. He represents MU with character and class. We can not ask for more.
