Very interesting read that focuses on the various Michigan State scandals and how it has in some ways bolstered their sports programs:

On a related note, I wish I had thought of becoming a social psychologist who studies fandom...it sounds like a lot more fun than what I'm doing.
Have some patience, FFS.

You would give up pursuit of the truth for pop science?

You are doing a noble thing -- accounting.

P.S. You should have taken Blascovich's Social Psychology class then. Good class, good teacher. had it in 1975.

MSU has big financial problems. There are estimates out there that the scandal is going to cost the school up to $500 million.  Will be interesting to see how long Izzo and D' Antonio can hang on.

As long as they want.

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
