I would say that in today's games there are point guards, wings, and forwards....with the occasional center who is becoming more and more necessary.

Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think Haanie struggled against the press any more than any of our other players did last season. Katin was the only one I remember being consistently solid against the press.

Rowsey was solid against the press, had a few random boneheaded plays here and there.  Markus definitely needs to improve against it.  Sam was smart enough to be a reliable outlet and know not to get himself into trouble.  But Haanif was by far the worst against the press.  That St. John's loss...WOOF.  Horrendous.  Not sure I've ever seen a college player struggle that bad against ball pressure.

Haanie was dreadful against St. John's . Though everyone kind of was.  That's the only game I can remember him distinctly struggling against the press.

Two years ago, but Iowa but I don't think he was put in a position to succeed.

I'm sure it's all an act so that when he starts playing mind games the result will be all the more devastating.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

I don't think you know what a two guard is
Wojo wants all three positions PG, 2g & Sf to be able to initiate the offense. There is no true point guard. The 2g better be able to handle the ball.
