well this game ain't going to help his confidence. kid looks like he just doesn't have it

Haanif Cheatham had 17 pts, 7 rebounds, 5 assists while playing all 45 minutes tonight.

^ yep you are an idiot

Thanks for finding the numbers first.    He played great except for his jumper.    Absolutely no complaints.

That is his problem, he is passing up good looks because he lacks confidence.

To be clear, I think Haanif has BE POY potential in two years so I expect him to play all 45 minutes.  But I also expect him to exert his will on the game.  I did not see that (like Howard did).

So yes he had a fine game, but I expect more from him.

Am I asking too much of him?

17-7-5, 45 minutes, 1 turnover, good defense.     What more can you possibly expect from him?   He has no confidence in his jumper right now AND STILL PUT UP THOSE NUMBERS.  Cogitate on that.

Me thinks he lacks confidence because when he did shoot, it's U G L Y.

Confidence isn't (always) regained in one game. I'll agree that he's lost confidence in his jumper. But he had some good drives that were vintage Cheatham. A buddy of mine texted me "HC just exorcised his demons from missing that layup in the last SH game." I think he was right, that and 1 breakaway was huge.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Cheatham was excellent tonight. Lapse in the last two minutes of regulation, but filled the stat sheet and did well on Carrington.

Wojo said they worked hard in practice with the guards so they don't get stuck when they drive.  This really showed with Haani tonight.  Kid is a stud, glad has worked to adjust his game as teams adapt to him.

So says the guy that reads every thread here.

This site has hundreds and hundreds of posters here that only read a small fraction of the threads.  Most of them do not know Tower does this.  The question is does Tower want them to participate or does Tower want it to be a thread for a small circle of those in the know?

The biggest problem in business writing is it is written in jargon from one gear-head to another gear-head.  This site has the tendency to be heavy duty gear-heads speaking in code to other heavy duty gear-heads thus losing reagular human beings.

Again this thread is a perfect example.,  It died after 5 posts.  That is not because no one wanted to talk about Haanif's game.  Instead it had a crappy title that caused it to die.

This isn't a business, and it certainly doesn't need to follow "business writing."  You're taking yourself and your "duty" at MUScoop too seriously.

Don't cry afoul when someone calls you out for creating a thread with the exact same topic that has a title that tells you exactly what it's about.  If we're going to pretend your excuse is actually true and you just don't want some clicks being awarded to you, your laziness in not looking into a thread that states the exact subject you want to discuss in its title is on you, not on the person calling you out for it.

Reminded me of that Jamil/Derrick play a few years ago.   But JjJ is a better shooter than Derrick.

HC played great last night - had some awesome moves to the hoop, played tough D, played hard all night.  Very, very happy he is on our team.
