With the two best players on the Bulls being from Marquette, and if they are a serious contender next year, that will give the program the kind of exposure you just can't buy.  Pretty cool.

Anyone shocked he picked Chicago?

What happen's if they don't live up to the unrealistic expectations of the big market? I'm not sure they will even get home court in the first round, let alone be a contender with the Warriors, Spurs and Cavs.

Then we spend the next year questioning their pre-season scheduling strategy.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

These guys are going to have success.  They are proven winners.  That should turn into some good/great exposure for Marquette basketball.

Depends in how they play together. They have 3 heavy ball handlers who are all slicers. They have  no big 3 point threat and rondo and Wade have history of injury.

I wouldn't say they are going to be contenders. But I won't say they will be the 8th seed.

I'm pretty sure us Bulls fans have no expectations even with these moves.

Thats why they'll probably Mirotic instead of Gibson. Defensively there gonna be pretty sound with Rondo, Wade, JFB and Lopez. They can afford putting Mirotic getting beat of he can hit some shots.

Sadly,  Douglas McBuckets was outperforming Mirotic by the end of the season. The NBA figured out his fake jumper as a one trick pony.

Unless Wade turns back the clock a few years, I think they will be very average.

Playoffs? Sure.

Contenders? I don't see it.

Could be good for all Chicago area hoops players to hear Marquette twice during Bulls intros.

There are only 3 contenders.
