Unpopular opinion alert, I'm thinking that Madness in general, not just from MU is getting stale.  Any ideas if the kids are still into it and I'm just turning into a cranky mid-aged man?

I think it's cool for freshmen and sophomores still. The upperclassmen don't really get into it. By my 5th year we'd just go get the shirt and leave.

I just like to see college basketball players playing basketball again for the first time in months, even if it is poor quality.  It's fun to see them on the court again.

I graduated a couple years ago now, but I went all four years, albeit, the last couple was just with one buddy who is as big as a fan as I am.  Most of the my friends didn't give a sh*t about madness, but they also didn't care about the regular season games nearly as much as I did either.

There is a humanoid looking pig wearing Marquette stuff at the 4 second mark. Where do they get these people? It is just as bad as the still shot of the people in the union reacting to the "Gold" announcement.

Absolutely.  I don't know that young man's name, but my kids do.  I saw him in the front row of the student section of every home game for at least three years. A$$holes who think he isn't worthy of being in a fan video can suck it.

I haven't gone the past couple years due to choosing between a glorified practice and meaningful USMNT matches, but I was thinking about going back this year. Not really all that excited for it, though.

I think the events in general are a bit stale. The only interest I have is to see if Wojo does it any differently. But in general, you figure team intros, dunk contest, something silly (or two somethings), scrimmage, go home. I think the excitement is more because we haven't had any meaningful basketball since the 11:00 mark against Villanova in March when back-to-back Josh Hart threes were the beginning of turning a 2-point game into a 18-point halftime deficit.

This poster is very telling.
Christian Haffner is in the position where Wojo's right arm should be, which clearly means he will be Wojo's "right hand man" this year and will see 25-30 minutes per game at the 2.

So does anyone have any clue if there will be recruits there tonight?  I'm really surprised there hasn't been more talk about this.  Is this "insider-only" info from other websites?  Crean and Wojo both used the event heavily for recruiting, is Wojo taking a different approach and not bringing in recruits as much for this?
