His buyout was seriously $15 million? I haven't seen that anywhere else.

His buyout was reported to be only $100,000 by Goodman today.

That was what MU got.  Not what it would have cost MU to fire Buzz.

Yep. That's what I'm interested in. Broker seems to dispute that $15 million figure.

I thought his session on CBS was strained, like he knows his karma just went very, very negative, and he's distraught.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Does buzz know this is not the UVA job?

It won't wear out.

I'm really sick of Buzz, and I really was behind him all these years. No doubt he poaches our program, or whats
left of it.

NCMUFan

Maybe, but do the current players still buy into his BS or do they see through it and stay?  Maybe with the new recruits it is a different story, but again it may be who recruited them.  If it was not Buzz but an assistant, it may be a different story.

He said "we" about 2 or 3 times in the session I just watched...he needs to look at his lapel pin and understand the "we" isn't MU anymore as he was referencing MU at the time.

Thanks for the victories Buzz!

Pilarz/Larry A bomb finally came home to roost.

How long are you going to go with this line of thinking?  Both are gone, have been...Buzz was given the kings to the kingdom.

God forbid Buzz had his hand slapped by his bosses for doing something that....deserved...hand...slaps....if not a ton more.

Honestly, Buzz should have gone to a SEC school where the adults only care about football and will let him do whatever he wants.

I think he tried, but Auburn was smart enough to hire Pearl instead.

I'm a Wisconsin fan, but seeing Buzz on TV sickened me.  Just disgusting.

Do we really think Buzz was not a good coach? Prior to this season, I felt he really got the most out of his players in feb and march.

If you are going to hire someone ethically challenged Auburn Goes Big!

Liked his energy, wasn't fond of his coaching.

Agree.  If anything, it points to Larry maybe not being as awful as most think.  Supposedly things deteriorated more than ever the past few months...after Larry leaves, and Buzz does a magic dance.  So Cords comes in, and sees things are not as he left them, and cannot in good faith just leave things be.  If Buzz had any issues with Larry or Pilarz, he could run to someone on the BOT or a booster and it was obvious who they were going to side with.  If he had any issues with Cords, not sure he would have any champions in his corner on that one.

Warrior of Law

Every time I see his ugly mug, I'm even more convinced he was a charlatan fraud.  Va Tech can have him.  Honestly, not bothered by this at all.  MU will be stronger after cutting ties with this goof.

Very smart of him to go on national TV like that.  Really makes it look like he dumped MU for bigger challenges.

I agree with this. It was an excellent P.R. move. Sir Charles practically kissed Buzz's ring on national television.

I do wish that the only journalist in the room had asked a follow-up after Buzz totally evaded the opening question (and the only question that really mattered), but I guess that would be expecting too much in today's TV environment.

Like it or not the dude does give good speech and that persona works on camera, radio, print and in the living room of recruits (real persona or not)

Bummed he left, hopefully the next coach takes us higher up, think Buzz wasn't up for re-building in MKE and couldn't handle the criticism this year.......will be interesting to see how he handles the rebuild in Blacksburg, couple years of 15-20 losses and he may start hearing Hokie criticism and then will see if he runs to a school in TX to hide again
