Giving up MUSCOOP for Lent.
« on: March 06, 2014, 09:17:12 AM »
After reading through most of the topics and posts since Providence, I think this would be a good year to give up MUSCOOP for Lent.

Why come on here and start a thread about it? If you're going to do it, just do it...I swear the drama queens who come on here to announce they are leaving  ::)

How about instead of giving up MUScoop, we take up being more kind for lent?

Isn't the purpose of Lent to give something up that represents a true sacrifice. It seems like it's convenient for you to give this up now given the circumstances. Not a Catholic here, but just sayin'.

Instead of giving something up, why not resolve to try to make it a more positive place?    Unless you are one of those posters whose absence would make scoop a more pleasant place.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

You're toast: St. Paddy's day is next week, Davante is going to lead us on a Kemba like run, baseball starts soon, NHL playoffs, etc, just too many things going on in the next 40 days to give up drinking.

In all seriousness though best of luck.

Me too.  Two days down.  No shakes.  Guess I wasn't drinking as much as I thought I was. ;D

Holy crap what a sacrifice.   How will you survive?   Are you sure announcing it strokes your ego enough or should you take a newspaper add or billboard to make sure everyone knows

Maybe we will get lucky and all these "I am giving up muscoopers" won't come back.

Hookers, giving up hookers.

Bad idea.  The Lord hung out with hookers.
