Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

There is no way you could tell that was a flop!  We practice flopping all week.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Seems to be a very high correlation between anger and success in this case.

GGGG

Strange....I never particularly thought of Crean, Matta or Donovan as "angry."

CTWarrior

Frank Martin would have been my number 1.  That guy looks homicidal 75% of the time.  Agree that I don't think of Donovan or Crean as particularly angry coaches.  Boeheim seems more sad than angry.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I think the reality is that there is a high correlation between mentioning successful coaches and page views.  You're not going to get page views or readers with a story about the angry coach at Podunk U that nobody has ever heard of.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Pretty good. Cryin' Ryan is number 1. Two missing: Where is Coach K and Alford?

He isn't coaching anymore, but Bobby Knight should be 1A.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Agree.  Crean runs around like a lunatic ...but "angry"...nah.

I agree with Coach K... he whines about everything.

ResidentBrown

Calhoun would have made a great addition to this list.

Also Cheney. One of my favorite press conference moments in history was when Cheney tried to assault Calipari.

bilsu

Refs can make anyone angry. I think it should be based on how angry the coach gets with his players. I think Frank Martin is number one.

Spotcheck Billy

Izzo occasionally does blow a gasket with his players, always fun to watch that happen imo  ;D

warriorchick

KO would have made the list for sure if he still had a job (although most of the funniest tantrum stories happened off the court).
Have some patience, FFS.

We R Final Four

Gary williams at Maryland--he would scream at his assistants all the time. Saw him do it in person several times.

Bo's anger issues shined bright when Uthoff wanted to transfer and he put all those schools off limits. It was redic! He put the entire ACC Conference on that list but then folded when the heat from the public came down on him.

Pakuni

Crean's got nothing on his brother-in-law when it comes to anger.

A lot of these are bs, Crean? He's not angry, he's apathetic. One I will agree with is Frank Martin, angry yes, more like downright fuming 24/7.

Didn't Crean go after an assistant coach during a game when he was at MU?
