In the past these have been published... I remember reading them on GoMarquette's website.

I thought it might be in the press guide, but I checked; it just has the all-time team records.  Chris holds it for the clean - 300 pounds.
Have some patience, FFS.

By the way, after seeing them swimming, I know that there is one sport in which I can definitely kick all of their asses.

So I got that going for me.

I thought the same thing, but it seemed as if they might be floating on something while swimming to actually make it more of a challenge or something.  Or maybe they are just all very bad swimmers.

Well, if you are playing basketball ten hours a day, there is not a lot of time left to perfect your butterfly stroke technique.
Have some patience, FFS.

Just got winded watching this montage of the team's offseason training

I've heard Todd Smith praised widely and consistently as one of the top trainers in college basketball, and this question is from a place of total ignorance... what differentiates the great from the OK in this field?

Doesn't seem like there are any proprietary secrets in this field.... what makes Todd so great?

I don't have a problem with Kanye incorporating the song into his music, but having a song that talks about the lynching of black men playing while a group of primarily black men are working out is really, really tacky.
...blogged the white guy

No way.  Where'd you find this one?!

The ability to improve the players conditioning and strength without injuring them.

I assume its the same as a coach. Bringing energy to each session and transferring that energy to the trainee. Being able to look at the trainee and being able to adapt training regimen to get the most out of the skill set. Being able to communicate effectively with players that learn in different ways.

Also recognizing everyone is starting at a different place from a conditioning and strength standpoint and creating individualized routines to build everyone up at a pace they can handle. Taking everyone from high school fitness to boot camp ready is no mean feat.

And flexibility.  Flexibility is a very important part of the process.  (It just makes for boring videos.)

I can't help but feel that MU will have to officially apologize for this at some point.
