We've beaten the teams we were supposed to thus far (lower in the standings) and lost against the elite teams.  We are right where this team deserves to be.  Sure, that's a pragmatic look at the events that have unfolded, but it gives us every reason to think our perimeter shooting and tough D can beat both Louisville and the Domers at home.  We are a good team in a spot we earned.  NOW a little luck would help.  I believe we are good enough for 4 more wins before the NCAAs.  We'll need every bounce though.  Tuesday is only 50 hours away now.

With 7 new comers, loosing OTule and Junior to injury, having Maymon and Roseboro leave the program, many were just hoping for a trip to the NIT's

The "other" site had an expectations thread where many people were "hoping" for a 9-9 Beast finish, me included.

I'm very impressed with Buzz and the guys.  They've busted their @ss's this year and in many people's views, whether they admit it or not, they have overachieved.  Heck, many people picked us to finish below St. Johns.

Well done MU,

Wow, I forgot how low expectations were before the season until I looked at that old muscoop thread. Props to Chapman for being the only one not willing to take an NIT berth in a heartbeat.

So, will MU or UL be ranked come tomorrow?  I am betting UL gets in the Top 25 and we are left at the door just because of Pitino.  MU has won 5 BE road games in a row and is 8-2 in its last 10.

Just imagine if we had 5 McD all americans on our team. We would be a bubble team for an NIT bid, ala UNC. Not, if Buzz just had one of those guys we would be looking at a 1 seed.

Not to take anything away from our team, but I don't think we deserve to be ranked. We have 10 BE wins, but our profile still isn't that strong. Who have we beat? Georgetown, and Xavier (unranked) and Uconn (unranked).

We just won 3 huge road games...but they were all in OT to mid to lower level Big East teams. That shouldn't get you into the rankings unless A LOT of ranked teams had bad losses this week.

Plus, I like flying in under the radar.
