Quote from: Juan Anderson's Mixtape on June 13, 2026, 10:32:59 PMTyler Kolek is an NBA champion.

I think he should go for a little Sidney Sweeney action.....She was sitting right behind him on the Knicks bench....Now that would be how you leverage a "championship".....

He DID contribute to the championship season. At one point, after a real good game back when he was getting lots of PT, Brunson said, "Thank God for Tyler Kolek."

Absolutely. Once they traded for Alvarado his playing time fell off a cliff, but he was a contributor on an NBA champion.

He'll never play in the NBA
It's only a few pennies

Listening to national sports radio this past week, I heard two Knicks fans call for TK to get some playing time. Kind of random, but I think it is indicative of the NY fans.

Billy Hoyle

congrats to TK. Playing time or not, he is a champion.

Looks like the monetary payout for the Knick players is $800K, plus I am sure a nice looking ring and memories for a lifetime.

On interesting side note, the last time the Knicks won in 1973, they also had a Marquette guard on their roster, Dean Meminger.  He actually played minutes, backing up Frazier, Monroe and Barnett.

It's a long season and Kolek more than did his part during the doldrum portion of the season.

The Knicks will lose some bench players this off season, but Kolek is a cheap contract so he has a chance to grow his role.
When we stop talking, really bad stuff happens.

Dean the Dream was an outstanding defensive player and a real spark plug for the Knicks. He was one of my faves long before I ever knew I'd be going to Marquette.

The Athletic rates Jamal Cain the 21st best free-agent small forward available. Here's their write-up:

Cain's epic dunk in Game 4 of the Magic's first-round series against Detroit certainly helped his name recognition, but he had already played his way up from a two-way deal. Orlando has no Bird rights on him and thus could be outbid; the Magic can go up to 120 percent of the minimum ($3.15 million) on Cain for 2026-27 salary without using exception money. However, Cain is a limited creator and his thin frame can get pushed around, so the minimum might be the right salary here. He did shoot 38.4 percent from 3 and, as he showed against Jalen Duren, he can get off the floor.

Watch Euphoria S3 on HBO. You will see a LOT of Sydney Sweeney (though no "Sidney").

Yep. Having fun at Hochul's expense does not equal defending Trump.  ::)  I see it as Kolek (aka "ef 'em) just being Kolek.
