Marquette Bars in MN

Wife and I are spending the weekend in Minnesota near the Mall of America. Wondering if there are any MU centric bars in the area. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.

I went to a bar in Minni/Stpaul a few years ago. They weren't interested in bb. They insisted on watching ice fishing and corn hole. I didn't want to start any trouble so I drank my beer and left.

This weekend is Creighton, so try Billy's on Grand. The local MU and CU clubs usually organize something together. Check alum website to confirm.

Note, Mpls ishoukd be a real sh1t show this weekend.Lots of car jackings and a ton of gas was tossed on the fire today. You should be ok by MOA, but be cautious in Mpls or StP.

Things may have changed in the last few years, but I do believe Sisyphus Brewing straddles being a Creighton and MU spot. Could be a fun place to watch the game with friendly rivals. Do pack the kevlar.

That's bad. Reminds me of an experience in MA. Stopped in a small town with a friend for a beverage. Walking from the car into the place, I asked my friend if he thought the Sox would be on TV there (it was Sept. and they were in a pennant race). He thought, not here, it's probably Nascar.

Turns out he was right. But the (one) TV was broken. They were listening to Nascar on the radio.
Some stories, it's a visual - this was an audio. If you can, imagine Nascar on the radio.

Those two beers disappeared rapidly.
