He unfortunately got upstaged last night by Taylor Kodak and Darren Morell, per the announcers.

Yeah the Morell thing was a mix-up with the Ole Miss guy.

But apparently Kodak is a legit nickname.  He explained it after he said it.

Both announcers referred to him as Koler, the analyst on numerous occasions.

Finally, after she called him Koler one last time, the PBP guy made it a point to really pronounce KOLEK as he made a follow-up comment, and the analyst said something like, "Yes, I meant Kolek."

Anyway, the game Taylor had was enough to make Marcus and Devante pround.

Oh, and I'm quite sure I heard a "Shaka Smith," though it was quick and maybe my ears were deceiving me?

They really were bad announcers. Some here say they don't even notice the announcers, but how can you not?

They kept making comments as if they were some kind of Marquette insiders, and yet almost every statement was questionable bordering on clueless.

And they didn't have the built-in excuse of doing the game remotely, because they were there.

Commented to my son all game that the female announcer was terrible.  She was so bad it may have taken my attention away from how bad the play by play guy was.
