To be fair, didn't the meat summit also know about Shaka done deal, Martin done deal, hockey coming back, etc?

The only person who I truly trusted as a legit source was run off because one insufferable poster couldn't handle the resulting lack of attention.
Such a damn shame.

Sorry Keefe this is lost on me. Can you put it into the form of a haiku? I recall those being very helpful during the last men's coaching search.

Meat Summiteers knew that Shaka was in (but didn't see the the Maya veto) and knew that Martin fell on his sword.

Zero intel on hockey but then we're not in New England...

He said "after our humiliating defeat to a mid major". I assumed this was Murray St.

That's why I was clarifying

Ahh, I missed that.  Maybe getting rejected by the CBI counts as a mid-major loss?

I believe there is some truth to Mrs. Shaka story, but only some.

Obviously the Shaka Saga is far more nuanced and Scoop is hardly the best vehicle for communicating the many plot twists.

But Goose and I were able to triangulate as it was unfolding. Shaka did say he was in subject to some due diligence.

Maya Smart wasn't the only determining factor but her buy in certainly was a significant one. And I hate to say it but she actually commented that she wouldn't mind Chicago or Madison but really had no interest in living in Milwaukee.

Eff her. Shaka has been a major disappointment, and he very well could be fired after next season if he doesn't do better.

I welcome any Wojo detractor to show how Shaka has been one iota better.

11-22 in his second season and 20-34 in the conference his last 3 seasons. Can you imagine if Wojo had done that?

That's my analysis.

Good the mrs smart isnt mrs fryboy.  I grew up in the suburbs and currently live in Madison.  Would so much rather live in Milwaukee than the other 2 places.

That said, Austin is pretty appealingly, outside of the summer time.
