Have fun, Vegas is awesome during March madness and much more affordable for women. Don't forget your Marquette gear!

I'm fully booked for Reno/Lake Tahoe. Doing wed-fri nights at Whitney Peak hotel, which is a non gaming/smoking hotel right next to the big ones. Looks nice and I figured ima spend 10 hrs per day inside the sports books so it'll be a nice change to stay in a different spot.

Definitely going to hit up Silver Legacy book for one of the two days and maybe check out the other ones the next day. Is this one of those situations where I have to reserve a spot ahead or get there an hr before first tip to get a seat/table like Vegas? Also, any other cool spots/sports bars for games outside the books?

As for Tahoe we are going with Heavenly and doing a half day of skiing- it'll be my first time- and the tamarack party deal and then staying at MontBlue instead of Harvey's because it seemed nice and has the restaurant I want to go to and some clubs. I'm sure it'll be a great time

If there are any other MU fans out there during the round of 64 weekend let me know and we can grab a drink, I'm sure we will spot each other wearing our MU gear w pride

Deltagirl, Doc is right.  Vegas for young ladies is one comp after another.  It's all legit so don't worry.  The casino and especially club hosts compete to have ladies like you in their establishment.  Free admission is just the starting point.  My daughter has even been provided with free bottle service for the night.

Now do understand that it's a supply/demand business and that March Madness is one of the busy times of the year.  But it will certainly be male dominated so maybe you and your friends will be in even higher demand.  Again, you guys are all smart and will quickly understand how the game is played.  Take full advantage.

Chick has often complained that her comps are more limited because some old guy is typically with her!

The wife and I are supposed to leave for Vegas tomorrow. Does anyone know if the ridiculously cold weather will delay or possibly cancel our flight?

Has anyone ever gone for Super Bowl weekend? Wondering what we should expect, not sure how busy it will be.

My wife isn't a big gambler so any ideas on things to do during the day. We have a few shows lined up for a couple of the evenings.

100%  Ive only heard of 2 groups of girls that didnt have a great time in Vegas.  1 wanted low key and stayed at a hotel without a great pool (cause they got a deal) and didn't venture to other pools or pool parties, and obviously didn't do clubs.  They also didn't do a great dinner and I forget which mediocre show they say.  So basically they took all the positive variables out of the equation. 

The other was a very standoffish crew, which is the easiest way to negate any of the establishments trying to compete for your patronage.

Tortuga, I'd look into some of the exhibits at some of the hotels, also explore "old" Downtown LV on Fremont St, maybe book some spa time

We have a friend that's there for the furniture show. Was supposed to leave yesterday, but of course couldn't because of the weather.

We're staying at Bally's. We don't have plans to rent a car, but I suppose we can if we have to.

If you guys like the outdoors, an excursion to Red Rock National Conservation Area is an outstanding way to spend the day and I'm sure plenty of tour operators provide it so you could avoid a car.  Do know that it's not pool season.

Chick jr.'s tip:  If you see a younger guy hanging out in a casino dressed in a suit, but no hotel nametag (especially during the day), it's likely that he is a club promoter.  Have your posse of lady friends walk by him and make a little eye contact.  There's a good chance you'll get some comps.  It's his job to get lots of attractive women into the clubs he works for, and comping several at a time makes it easier for him.

My 4th time going, my wife's second. The first time we went we had a car and did the Hoover Dam tour and drove around a little. We're probably going to play it by ear to see if we want to venture out of town or not this time.
