Honest question:

Does the committee look at teams as: Duke RPI 1, Cuse RPI 61, Marquette RPI 58, Nova RPI 8.... etc...

Or is it listed as a double blind?

Team A RPI 1, Team J RPI 61, Team B RPI 58....

What I'm basically asking is are they picking while seeing the teams name or are they picking on resumé while blind of name/conference affiliation?

It probably doesn't matter.  Most of the time when I watch the "blind comparisons" on ESPN I know who the mystery teams are (or can make a pretty good guess).  I assume that the committee members are the same, so hiding the names won't do much.

Interesting... in looking at Worlock's twitter feed, they voted in 24 teams on the initial ballot but were discussing Kentucky yesterday.  So they've already started seeding.

Clarification - They've selected 32 teams so far (not last night).  Now if you assume the top-seed from each of the 6 majors is in that group of 32, that means that six of the 32 will end up with an auto, thus freeing up six more at large selections.

In short, it looks like there are 10 spots remaining for 22 teams under consideration.  MU is very likely in that 22 but is probably listed on the next ballot.

It also means the committee has considered at least 54 teams.  At the risk of fanning flames, MU's RPI as of last night was 55; however, take solace in the fact that even if RPI was the cut-line, there's a pretty good chance that one of Princeton (51) and Vermont (47) aren't on the UC board (or will be in with an autobid, regardless).  Then again, that group of 54 may still also include team or two who won/tied their regular season championship but not their conference tourney (UNCA, Oakland, Monmouth, Illinois State, Belmont, UNC-Greensboro, Furman, and South Dakota).

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

RPI won't be cut line top 50 wins will take priority
Goal is National Championship
