I'm from Omaha and was back in town for yesterday's game.  My buddy's sister is a senior Comm student at CU and has a hand in the in-game promos and events.  She had previously told me I was set to do the TV Shootout during the game (layup, free throw, 3 pointer, half court shot) and as I was on my way to the arena, then texted me that she instead gave it to a Creighton student who'd already done it twice......point being, I'll take full credit for yesterday's win for being on the receiving end of shitty Creighton karma.

So, you're welcome, guys and Chick.  Awesome road win, probably the most opposing fans I've ever seen at a Jays game outside of UNL.  For as intimidating as the CLink can get (top-5 most difficult road environment IMO), the Marquette contingent was certainly letting themselves be heard all game.  Oh and here's the video replay of the game since FoxSportsGo doesn't seem to have replays.

Agreed.  One thing I thought they could do and didn't is, with no pressure, is to hold the ball for 4 seconds before passing it in.  Conversely, JJ twice could have settled for a corner 3 and instead took it to the rim.  So, some bad, some good.

To be fair--one of those two drives ending in a turnover on an attempted pass to LF, with a quick CU score the other way. So, the 'some good' is also some good, some bad.

Like winning the Brooklyn tourney, beating Providence twice, winning at Madison, beating Butler, winning at Georgia, dominating Vanderbilt, etc, this was another win for Wojo that didn't really count.

And if we beat Nova on Tuesday, that won't count either because they were due for another loss. Too bad for Wojo.

Per Pomeroy, the 66% chance 'Nova has Tuesday is their second lowest likelihood of a win (62% at Xavier) for the rest of the season. As they're projected for 3 losses, that pretty much means Tuesday is a lock for us to win
