Markus Howard, Team USA win U17 world championship

When Markus Howard arrives on Marquette's campus in the coming week, he'll be bringing with him not one, but two gold medals from competitions with Team USA.

Thanks for the report, Matt.

I know it's low-level competition, but I'm excited nonetheless about what Markus can bring to the program.

Especially looking forward to adding another great outside shooter, but it looks like he has a lot of game beyond that.

Can't wait to see how our rotation comes together. Markus has proven himself at the highest level of competition so far. His shooting looks outstanding. And the experience with Team USA is sure to help both his skills and confidence. From everything I've read (including Jay Bee's evaluations), he should play a significant role in our success next season.
