July Evaluation Period (First Week)
« on: July 02, 2016, 08:32:37 AM »
First recruiting evaluation period runs July 6th - 9th.

The Family and Ike Eke are playing in the Nike "B" tournament in August, GA since they didn't qualify for the Nike Peach Jam. Still some very good teams and players in this event. Collin Sexton, Markus Howard's teammate in Spain this week, plays for Southern Stampede.

Most of the other top prospects on Wojo's 2017 board will be in North Augusta, SC for the Peach Jam and that will include Xavier Tillman, Jordan Nwora, Theo John, Hasahn French, Jermaine Samuals and Kimani Lawrence. I'd expect a Marquette coach to be at the Peach Jam every day and maybe 3 coaches at some games.

A couple hours away in Spartanburg, SC, the Adidas Gauntlet with Dream Vision and Donnie Tillman along with other teams like Gateway Basketball and Levi Stockard. Tillman is playing with Dream Vision instead of the Peach Invitational with the Oakland Soldiers. With Tillman at this event, Wojo will likely be going back and forth between Augusta and Spartanburg.

FYI for those who care, the two Nike events are in different states, but are less than 5 miles apart.

Also, NY2LA has an event in the Quon this coming week/weekend as well.. WI Playground Elite will be there (Lewis in 17U; January, Foster, etc. 16U); Greenwood Elite (Terry Armstrong!!), etc.

Just booked my flights for the final eval period in Vegas... let's get it.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

I was quite tempted by Spirit.. but went with Sun Country.

Hoping to spend $65 or less on the hotel.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Chick is a good southern girl. Don't think they do things like that.  :-)

In addition to Donnie Tillman and Levi Stockard (Gateway Club) playing in Spartanburg, SC, Joey Hauser, Tyler Herro and Race Thompson will be playing in the 16U divison at the Adidas event there.
