I heard Wojo is getting tough with the team......

I guess Wojo has finally figured out he has been soft with the team and has been implementing some "tough" changes.  Namely:
*In practice while simulating physical Big East play the scout team will be instructed to hit other players with only 2 pillows vs. last year's 4.
*He has permanently removed quiche and fresh sushi flown in from Tokyo from the MU training table.  These two items have been replaced by more blue collar manly items including filet mignon and lobster tail. 
*Four letter words are still outlawed by the coaching staff but now screaming "shoot!" or "golly darn!" are deemed motivating but not overly harsh when trying to get a player's attention.
*Finally playing defense is no longer encouraged but will instead be strongly encouraged.  So maybe this year we'll stay within 5 feet of our opponents vs. last year's average of 10 feet. 

In other news our spend thrift president wants to replace McCormick Hall that would have served its purpose for another 50 years with a luxury dorms complete with massage tables, Pilate machines and individual Jacuzzi's for each student's rooms.  Of course the ancillary benefit of this is he can raise tuition again four times the rate of inflation and also petition cash strapped alumni to donate more for soft millennials who think Bernie Sanders is the rage. 

Bottom line is MU won't be any better this year than the last two years as Wojo just doesn't get "it".  However to Wojo's credit I did like the way he played the Ellenson's back after they played us by making us to take Wally to get Henry for 1 year. 

The recruiting has been amazing in comparison to how much momentum we lost the last two years as no blue chip recruit could actually watch the product on the floor and say with a straight face that they see a budding basketball juggernaut under Wojo.  Rather the recruiting has been amazing due in most part to Stan Johnson. 

Stan Johnson is a budding star and MU needs to be proactive and not let him get away.  Reach out to him behind closed doors and let him know that after MU has another bad season that they will push Wojo out and the job will be his if he wants it.  Otherwise he knows his star will be too tarnished by all the Wojo losing and he'll have to take the next job that comes around.

For once be proactive MU and do something smart!  Go MU!!
