Feel sorry for Georgetown?? Who the hell is the moron doing color?.

willie warrior

The announcers did not suck as much as the refs--and Burr was not even reffing.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

AZWarrior

I thought their analysis was pretty good.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

warriorstrack

I would take them a million times over Mike Kelly, I liked how they called the game; impartial, good comments about game, MU, GTown, perfect no, but decent

ZiggysFryBoy

color commentator dude was acting like it was the first time he ever saw the big heads.

MU82

"It's not how white men fight." - Tucker Carlson

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." - George Washington

"In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

cheebs09

A million times better than Pete Gillen. Granted I'd prefer 2 hours of silence over him.

Tommy Brice for Coach

These guys were fine. I'm not real big on FS1 but today it was a good performance by their network.

Agree with Willie (stop the presses). I like how they didn't hold back on referee criticism, but did it in a respectful way.

wardle2wade

It was Stu Jackson, former coach and NBA exec.  I actually was going to post saying he did a good job.  About 1000x better than the drunk Irishman on Saturday.

Coleman

Analysts were fine. I've heard much worse on FS1. Glad they called the Starks travel as it should have been, even though the officials blew that call

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I think fans think all announcers suck. I thought the announcers were great last night

TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

If the guy doing the color sounded clueless - could be because he was the Badger head coach from '92 to '94.

GooooMarquette

I thought the announcers last night were OK overall.  The main annoyance was the guy who can't pronounce a "t" in the middle of a word.  "Burton" became "Bur-in."  And when we played "Creighton," he kept calling them "Creigh-in."  Other than that minor speech impediment, they did fine.

Gillen has surpassed even Dukie V as my least favorite announcer of all time.  He is terrible generally, but he went totally over the top when Butler went on a run against us and he shouted "Fight Bulldogs!  Fight!" going into the commercial.  Totally inappropriate for a national network announcer.

I wish I could sync Mac & Homer on 540 with the video I'm seeing.
In my case I would have to delay the radio audio a bit to get them together.

Anybody have a slick way of doing this?

I really enjoy the 540 guys with the video but have to live with the offset.

Gillen is the SNL caricature version of Al's last couple years on the air. To me, he is clearly the worst.

THIS.  Drove me insane during the Creighton game.  Get that guy some diction lessons.
Have some patience, FFS.

MerrittsMustache

National announcers are paid to be impartial and call it like they see it. Every time they express their opinion on a close play, they're annoying half of their viewers.

Do you listen online? IIRC, the online feed is a few seconds behind the actual radio feed so you'd be able to sync it up with the TV (possibly with some help from having DVR). I could be wrong though.

Is this the same Stu Jackson that coached the Badgers about 20 years ago when they really were the BADgers?  They were so bad back then that the athletic department explored options on filing for bankruptcy (then they hired Barry A and he saved them from becoming the laughingstock of the B1G).
