As a Lakers fan, it makes sense to me for the Clippers to obscure the banners for their home games.

PuertoRicanNightmare

I actually think all shared arenas should do this where possible. For instance, when the Bulls play, roll up the Blackhawks banners. When the Warriors play, get rid of the Bucks stuff.

Incidentally, there should be no Admirals or Wave banners in the Bradley Center, period.

Yeah, I pretty much agree.

Certainly don't mind continued display of other totally unrelated sports but I certainly understand Doc's point when it comes to an NBA team they compete against.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Honestly surprised that the Clippers didn't do this sooner.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

That is why the new stadium here in Jersey is named Met Life. The Jets covered everything Giants in the old Stadium, but they could not hide the name Giants Stadium.

The lights have been turned off of the Lakers banners during Clipper games.

No...it is named Met Life because Met Life wrote a big check.

Paying rent does bestow some benefits.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

When the lights go out in the big house, the latter probably won't matter.  When the lights go out in your own own, the former will.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

The Michigan-Indiana game was high scoring.

Michigan students have high SAT scores.

Looks like Indiana has some smart coeds, too.
