The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

as someone who owns many Aloha shirts and visits hawaii frequently on business for the last 25 years that shirt looks like it was bought at an ABC store.  Reyn Spooner does a far better job of designing sports and school shirts with an island flavor. Those colors and design  look like they were cobbled together in Sturgeon Bay by someone who has never seen a real hibiscus or plumeria

Is a lei included?

Typical Dr. Blackheart, always looking to get leied.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

This might be the most smug post in a long time.

TallTitan34

I love a good smug post.  I'd like to see more.

The only people that should wear Hawaiian shirts are gay guys and big fat party animals.

Wow, post of the year nominee here. Laying down the knowledge.

Sounds like this is an ideal gift for Scoopers to receive.

Is the brand name 'KRAZY'?  Awesome.  If it came in XXXXL I would have bought one, but not after reading elephantraker's post.  I am down with the real island flavor only.  And this ain't cuttin it.  I want some dope plumeria designs, not this wannabe stuff.  Thanks, elephant!
The portal is NOT closed.

The price is 'right around $50' according to the sales associate.

Sorry Mr. Fashion - This person SHOULD be allowed to wear an "Aloha" shirt (that's what they're called)!

People always fear what they don't understand, and boy, do we not understand Hawaiian shirts.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

When Schlitz bought the Primo Brewery in Hawaii, they had Schlitz Hawaiian shirts made which Schlitz tour guides, like myself, wore when giving tours during the summer.  I've still got 'em somewhere.  They were of slightly better quality than the Maui Invitational MU Shirt seems to be.

Must resurrect thread... I saw this thing in the Spirit Shop over the weekend and it looks 100x worse in person.  The fabric feels like canvas and the picture just doesn't do the shirt justice in the department of it looking like the end result of a hyacinth eating 10 cans of Spam. (pun and non-native botanical reference both intended)  I didn't even bother making a note of the price.  I think it was $55 or so; frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't been relocated to the clearance rack already.

Elephantraker wasn't being smug.  It really is horrible... you don't even need to know where Hawaii is to make a call like that.

So glad Crean won't be there this time around rockin' the golf windbreaker as if he's scratch. Dude has all he can do to handle his putter staring at a wall from 6 inches away.
