It's an apples and oranges comparison. Buzz recruits higher profile players because those are the guys that fit his system. Bo recruits to his system, which may not get the same wow-factor according to the recruiting gurus, but still provides impressive results.

The recruiting argument only really works if they're going head-to-head for a guy. If it's Bo or Buzz in the living room, who do you want? But who have they both really gone after? Burton and Wilson were both pretty obviously headed to Marquette. I don't remember Marquette ever even looking at Dekker seriously. Maybe it will be decided by Looney and Stone.

After Bo Ryan's snafu with the whole Uthoff transfer situation and interview on Mike and Mike - pretty sure some coaches will point toward that situation as a reflection of who Bo Ryan is.  With Tubby Smith at Minnesota, I doubt Bo will be able to pull as much talent out of MN as he has, and his rep in Iowa is tarnished - pretty much going to come down to Bo continuing to be able to land Wisconsin kids.
