MU is playing a team that is coming off of a loss.  On the road.  The team is on the bubble and in need of a resume enhancing victory.  Playing MU is that opportunity.

Why not just finish what was started at UCONN!

We are doomed.
I should add that to my post.  That people will say MU is doomed.   ;D

I think MU handles it just like they did at UCONN and at WVU.

That fact alone actually meant I kinda wanted Cincinnati to win (in addition to the fact that Cincy is one of our mirror opponents, so it would help our RPI, not that it probably matters much at this point).  Oh well, it just sets up another challenge for the team.

I thought this would be about "Country Roads" ;D

Well played.  I guess I need to be more careful with Subject Titles!   ;D

I'm donating $20 if they play "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" when Buzz walks out of the tunnel.

What's with that song?  I've had it in my head all weekend.   8-)

Yeah, just downloaded "Save Room in the Lifeboat For Me" and "What Would You Do If Jesus Came to Your House Tonight?"
"Give 'Em Hell, Al"

Buzz dances to this song after we win another big roadie, and hopefully lock up the 2 seed in the BET?!

Since we are playing old songs, I am going to the same (and happily wrong) prediction I had for the West Viriginia game... I say we lose unless Gardner plays at least 10 minutes.  Sooner or later not having Gardner is going to cost us.  I'll say it is this game.

Like being wrong though!   ;D

LOL - so did I!

Can someone please get the MU band the music to "Country Roads" so we can hear it at the end of the game after a W?
Relax. Respect the Process.

AZWarrior

That would be really, really sweet.

And then the student section chants, "Dance, Buzz, dance....."   ;D
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

UConn whipped DePaul right before playing us and there were (delusional) stories about them righting the ship and that made me happy.  I was rooting for WV against ND and Cincy today against USF for the same reason.  I'm finally beginning to think we are good enough that stuff like that doesn't matter.

Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Yeah, it was running through my head too while I was sitting in the living room, and damn if the sofa didn't start on fire.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Or, "Give 'em the two-step, Buzz!"

If the students wish to redeem themselves after an awful showing on Wednesday, they'll all start two-stepping in the stands after we beat Georgetown Saturday.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

How 'bout the funky chickin' or just your basic polka?
"Give 'Em Hell, Al"

AZWarrior

If they don't do the two-step, no one will get the reference.  Which is to say no one would be offended.
