We've hosted it a grand total of one time.  Kansas, Kentucky, Florida, Duke, and Syracuse are the only schools to have hosted it more than twice, with KU the most at 4 times.  UNC and Michigan St. have only hosted twice.  But yeah, we desperately need to get it back on campus or BUZZ SUCKS AND CREAN IS GOD!

Butler has been to the championship game twice in a row. They should host a game day show; they earned it. Oh wait, they're not one of the best teams, don't have any McDAA, no 5 star recruits, and only have a fan base of 4000 students. Advertisers would never go for it. Its not about basketball, its all about money.

Your post shows the beauty of March, though.  In Mens BB a team like Butler or VCU without the 5 star recruits can still come one shot away from winning the national championship.  In football, the mid-majors have no chance to win it all.

I doubt many UConn fans would agree; after all, all the games they lost during the regular season last year were to inferior teams.

He would be right.  The team that wins the championship isn't always the best team.  Was Butler the second best team in the nation last year or the team that finished 2nd in the NCAA tournament?  UCONN couldn't even finish in the top 8 of it's own conference, but got hot to win the National Championship.  Doesn't mean they were the best team.

What would Jay Bilas say?      The same thing
