No. 6 Marquette to Face No. 11 Washington on Thursday
         

The Marquette University men's basketball squad will open NCAA Tournament play Thursday in San Jose, Calif., as the No. 6 seed in the East Regional against No. 11 seed Washington. The team that advances to the second round will play the winner of No. 3 New Mexico and No. 14 Montana.
