Dan, it’s the boards. With 12 minutes left, UConn is doubling MU in rebounds 32 to 16. But its offensive boards UConn 15, MU 6. That’s nine extra possessions and also a morale thing with players getting pounded.

Not sure if you’re serious about the gassed part, but if you are, I think OMax does it to himself. He exerts so much unnecessary energy and is always playing catch up. It does takes it toll. As for Oso, I have no idea, but he sure seems less focused or interested lately. It’s probably because he is always so strong at being both of those things. Hopefully his intelligence will allow him to adjust to how he’s being played defensively. I think he can.
