Yes, it's the deleted tweet. It's the same info that was previously mentioned here.
TheRealWRK isn't the only person who seems to believe this. I'll leave it at that.
Have Sam and Joey been seen near the Gary airport?
From whats I've heard down the grape vine (and trust me, I'm very far down the vine). The Hauser's, along with the rest of the team, were frustrated with the way the season ended. However, its just frustration and nothing monumental is going to take place. However, a little lest hero ball from Markus could also go a long way.
Also, keep in mind. Markus, Sam and Joey are very close. There would have been a lot less hugging, chest bumping, and support provided to one another if they truly had an issue wish each other.
For what it's worth, I was also once confident Shaka was measuring drapes for his office at the Al.

They better be frustrated ... the #10 ranked team finished the season 1 - 6!
What would be truly surprising is if they were not frustrated.
Upside of Armageddon.
Pesky minutes problem solved. More minutes for Bailey and Cain. (Good thing he is taller). Torrence reclassifies, MU takes advantage all of their long guards and runs a 3 guard offense.
IMO, it is all balderdash. In case it isn't, there are options.
The last 24 hours we have hear rumors that:
1. Sacar wants to grad transfer
2. There are two players back in Michigan preparing their media statement about their transfer to a mid-major in Michigan.
3. The Hauser brothers are transferring to Virginia.
Are there any others? Do we just wait for the People's republic to come up with another?
Yeah, there's lots of guys who have no interest in potentially going to Atlanta. :o

You absolutely could not be more wrong about anything in your life than with this post right here.
It's my opinion that Wojo was making a statement to the team and it's supporters (parents / HS & club coaches) by naming Sam a co-MVP with Markus.
And I it's my opinion that he needed to do so because a lot of people were frustrated with how the season ended.

Then we have the where theres smoke? From what the tweet?
Then we have I heard from a friend who, heard from a friend. Sounds like the REO song.
So Joey sits out a year after reclassifying, plays a year, then sits a year, then plays again. Sam sits out senior year, then plays. All because of some sort of internal personal issue no one is aware about and was not incorporated in the tweet by the guy who has 11 followers and no connection to MU. Now the fire Wojo, its all on Wojo stuff happening and then it will be Buzz never had this. All based upon a guy and a keypad. Insane. Social media changed everything.
If this is true, start the rebuild...again. Fire Wojo.
Edit: Oh, and also, I think it was Jon who reported that the Hauser's were not thrilled with Wojo and in that case, he was right. Tons of people jumped down his throat on that one.....

Nothing happens in a vacuum. Here's an alternate way to ask the same question:
Name a coach who presided over a two week collapse from what could have been a 2 seed to a 5 seed and failed to prevent such widespread discontent amongst his team that two of his foundational players on a preseason top 5 team quit the program. Have any of those been fired?
Don't know. Not sure there's a lot of precedent there.
This is not a blip on the radar or a bump in the road. It is a disaster, a fundamental setback for the program.
Who bears the responsibility for it?

Thats fine, but at this point I'll trust only a competent source. I am sure the staff has wind of this and based on the social media aspect, they need to address this sooner or later. Mainly sooner.
On side note, if in fact such a transfer happens, it would probably be the largest loss in MU history since when Chones, McNeil and Lucas left in consecutive years over 40 years ago. This team will be ranked extremely high, with expectations off the charts with Markus coming back, along with the others. For two star players to leave, based upon the fact/rumor, that they didn't want to play with an All American player, who has distinguished himself as a player, student and human being is well, sort of despicable. Now, if it comes out they didn't like the coach, then another story.
Would also be a terrible perception on the part of the recruiting aspect and with 2020 coming up, very, very bad.

If this is true, you have to wonder what their options will be.
They're both great players...but if they're leaving because Markus was the guy and they were "only" options #2 and #3, they must be looking for a program where they'd be guaranteed to be THE guys from the start.

Really? Because if I were a betting man I would say theres a 80% chance they land there far above any other team due to them being instate. Wisconsins offense is so bad right now they could easily be the 1 and 2 man guy on the team. I hate to say it but in 2 years if they are on the team they have a final four team there. Davison, King, Hauser, Hauser and Ruevers. Good luck against that team.

By all accounts Sam and Markus are very close. Also both stars and have been their entire careers, so Sam would get the gunner mentality. Annoyed with Markus, but it is what it is. Now if you have your coach who not only doesn't try to focus significant offense on you, and further more, doesn't admonish or coach Markus when he gets selfish and gets scoring blinders to the detriment of someone like Sam, thats a different level of frustration and distrust.
They have no issue playing with Markus, but if they see no evidence to believe their coach would help Markus help them (via unselfishness, distribution, vision, etc...), then I can absolutely understand them bailing. They are smart guys with high basketball IQs, they aren't Todd Mayo
Also, no chance they end up at Wisconsin

They have no issue playing with Markus, but if they see no evidence to believe their coach would help Markus help them (via unselfishness, distribution, vision, etc...), then I can absolutely understand them bailing. They are smart guys with high basketball IQs, they aren't Todd Mayo
Also, no chance they end up at Wisconsin
What high b-ball IQ did Joey show last year??
Kid might legitimately have rocks for brains.
Sam, yeah he makes the little winning plays.

I don't think that's what this is about
Then what?
Sam was OK enough with Wojo to stick around for 3 years, and encourage his brother to follow. Is he essentially saying he was wrong for the last 3 years?
if Joey wasn't found out as such a big bust this year I would be more pissed , sam missing out hurts much more, but for me its more the principle of losing two potential starters when you have a great group coming back and a team that could go far in theory, that hurts the most, and its on wojo,
might be the perfect time to cut ties now, the program is definitely in trouble right now. wojo is the cause of this.

Joey a bust? Had some bad moments but he was a fricken freshman averaging 10 points on a tournament team, definition of not a bust.
Only a moron would attack Joey. The kid was a freshman for God's sake!!
This really sucks. I didn't want to believe it when I first heard it, but a whisper became a whirlwind in very short order.

Thank you. Bears repeating. I thought Joey had a very impressive freshman season, and I was really looking forward to watching him develop over the next several years.
They'll end up at Nebraska with Fred "Transfer" Hoiberg as coach.

Joey disappeared most of the second half of the year. Fouled too much, turned the ball over, was a non-factor in most games the last couple of months.
Those are facts.
Despite that, I was never "down" on Joey, and I think he has an outstanding future as a college basketball player. And I am not going to pretend we won't miss him. If he improves as much as Sam did, he will be a heck of a player.

I was never down on Joey or Sam either, until this afternoon. They proclaim to be winners and yet flat-out bailed on their teammates. Leaders work things out with their teammates and coaches. The team was on the verge of a massive breakthrough, and they decided that whom the coach was going to feature or showcase was somehow more important than the team itself. I could understand if these were kids so very close to an NBA career and a coach was limiting their worth going forward. Neither of these kids are going to sniff the league. Sam will forge a great career overseas no matter what his role would've been in 2019-2020. I never wish bad things on anyone, as that is just not the way to go through life. However, I won't miss them one iota.
Assuming some degree of the speculation is true joey seems to have a big ego. He just assumes hes headed to the NBA and is THE GUY. he has no chance to ever be the best player at MSU or UVA. maybe UW with significant improvement.

That's pretty harsh, but it's your feelings and I certainly understand them. I have some of them myself. By just about any definition, they
did quit.
As for whether they "sniff" the league, I think both have a decent chance, especially Sam. I've been wrong before but, I mean, Jon Freakin' Leuer just completed his 8th NBA season.

ok jon is a legit 6 foot 10. more athletic, better defense. good shooter. I mean come on
Can't be a winner if you're a quitter. Seems the Hausers only want the easy wins.
Well stated

The only sentence in my paragraph that I almost deleted was the part about sniffing the NBA. Because I never want to discourage a kid giving his all to be what he truly wants to be. This is going to sound conflicted, but it's not....as I said, I wish ill-will on nobody.....but the reason I didn't delete it is that I hope somehow, just maybe a distant friend or relative of Sam and Joey reads it and passes it on and it fuels them to prove me wrong. I would be happy to learn that Sam was drafted with the 20th pick. I also hope looking back, maybe the next time they want to quit on their Pacers, Spurs, or Hapoel Tel Aviv team, they say Hey, maybe we can work this out first.

The only thing Leuer has on Sam is 2 inches and length. Sam is a better shooter, rebounds just as well, better distributor. Leuer wasn't exceptionally athletic either. Some of Sam's lack of athleticism perception is cause he wasn't super assertive, off the dribble or otherwise. Sam can/will have just as good of a Senior year as Leuer. To act like they are worlds apart is revisionist history

Guys, I think you're failing to understand the importance of usage when projecting NBA-ability. Sam's usage is tiny compared to many NBA guys, and most certainly Leuer. Many worlds apart (this far in Sam's career)
