Yes, it is I, the old WRK. The BREAKER of the VANDER news back in 2013 to break some news on Henry.
There were never any news crews outside the AL. Whoever started the rumor is a dope.

I heard a rumor from a reliable source, but I can neither confirm nor deny it at this point. However, if someone else confirms the same rumor, I will confirm as a second source. If someone confirms a different rumor, I will of course deny my original rumor, unless both turn out to be true. In that case, I will confirm both rumors. If both rumors turn out to be incorrect, I likewise will deny both.
I hope this clarifies everything.

I just saw wojo in a karate outfit riding an atv down Wells. Not a good sign.
I heard Wojo didn't flush today.
I just talked to a buddy at channel 6. The story will be on the C-block on the 10pm news. Apparently, it was a combined student rally and alumni event. The student (I believe his name was Bob) was asked if alumni really had to wear a gold sweater vest when describing how good it was at the 'Lanche and Lenny's back in the 70"s.
Will Wojo be announcing he is donating money for an MU soccer stadium?

I haven't followed with any of my people, but I have to believe this is true. Too many variables for him to worry about by staying. Unless he shrinks 5 inches during workouts and combine stuff I don't really think he has much to worry about.

Except not being ready to play in the NBA physically, hardly getting off the bench next year, traded in the offseason to a team that doesn't give a rats ass about it him, and finding himself in the D league or in street clothes for most games. It happens to top 15 picks every year.
I know he is gone, but another year in college isn't going to hurt Henry. I obviously don't hope the above happens, but I think that is just as likely as him becoming a star in the the NBA, or even being a contributor as a rookie.

I'm curious - for the people who think it's a no-brainer that HE will go, why hasn't he announced yet? I know the deadline isn't here yet, but there are quite a few kids - many far less talented than Henry - who have declared: http://www.si.com/college-basketball/2016/03/30/nba-draft-early-entry-list-underclassmen-declaring
If it's such an easy decision, what's he waiting for?
Not saying he won't leave...but it's clearly a more difficult decision than some seem to think.

I assume Henry, his family, and Wojo are all up to date on his choice. Those are the important players. He'll make a formal announcement when he's ready to share that news with the rest of us. Not a big deal when he decides to do it. And won't be a shock when he leaves for the NBA.
Because it's their dorm he runs across the players regularly. I guess it could be something or nothing at all. It was interesting that he brought up HC because I assumed that next year it was essentially his team. Who knows. After reading that article about Deonte and Jamaal kids leave for all kinds of reasons.
It would explain our interest in multiple PG's though.....

Agree with what you say. I'm referring to all the posters who seem to think it's a foregone conclusion, and has been since the day Henry stepped on campus. If it was so easy and obvious, there would be no reason to wait.
I think there's a better chance than not that he is gone, but it clearly is not 100%.
I firmly believe that Henry will announce as soon as he makes a decision. He and wojo are close and he knows the impact his decision has on potential recruits. If there's no announcement, I believe that means there's not been a decision yet.
This was never as cut and dry as some have claimed it is.

Not at all unusual for early draft entrants to leave school and essentially prepare for da combine, individual workouts, team interviews, etc. Their agent will have this entirely orchestrated, and funds fronted once der John Hancock is on da dotted line. It's part of the whole package of services that today's agents do. Big business, hey? Wishing Henry luck in da process as he respects it, ai na?

Exactly correct... end of the E Concourse. American Airlines destinations.
He was not on my flight to Chicago. And no, I wasn't going to follow him... I missed Gold boarding trying to get the picture and ended having to board with Group 2... which F-Ing sucks now if you have a carry on.
Always board group 1. Anyone notice that frontier now has plastic skinny seats with tray tables the size of a smart phone? HE probably doesn't fit in a dam seat

They made no fewer than six announcements in the gate area telling people if they're in Groups 2, 3 or 4 to bring bags to the counter and they would courtesy check them because it was a full flight and there wasn't going to be enough room. But sure enough, about a dozen people in Groups 2, 3 and 4 still carried on, got to their seats, turned around, and got upset because there was no overhead space for their bag.
Fortunately, I was in 7D (first row behind first class), so I discreetly crammed my bag up there.
BTW - If you're on an American MD-80, 7D is where it's at. The bulkhead is only in front of 7AB & DF, so 7D has unlimited leg room. That's the seat HE sits in... for now, any way.
Listen to the gate agents people.

I am 100% convinced that if you are going to fly commercially you must take a course of what to do and how to do it and there must be a certification test at the end. Your certification must be renewed every two years unless you complete at least 12 qualifying flights in that time period(and then you would renew every 4 years instead of 2).
Air travel is a nightmare not because of the airlines but because people are generally stupid and lazy.

Wally's got a track meet in Missouri this weekend. Maybe the fam is going to watch.
He no-heighted at his first outing this year after passing up all heights prior to 2.04 meters. Hope he's had time to recover from basketball season and get his jumps in gear to bring Marquette an NCAA championship!

Reasons I am glad I am a pilot and don't have to take commercial carriers:
1. No ejection seat
2. Ingesting the cumulative DNA of everyone who flew in that tube for the past 12 months
3. The heady stew of body odor that hangs like a fog in the cabin (triple points for flights from India, Middle East, France)

One of my preferred iPad apps while in the air (no wifi required) is an ATC approach simulator... essentially, take the handoff from center, line everybody up, keep the spacing via speed and altitude, and the Fockers land themselves. The game starts out slow, but progresses to the point where about 30 minutes in, I'm frantically tapping my iPad with both hands like I'm having a seizure.
Though no one has ever asked, I already have my response rehearsed if anyone asks if I work for American:
"No, sir/ma'am... I'm actually an air traffic controller, we don't work for a specific airline, but they do let us commute on the planes, and I play this game on my way to work because it helps me to get into a rhythm, because if you make the tiniest mistake up in the tower, your name ends up on the front page of every newspaper in the world the next morning." Then when the flight attendant comes by with drinks, I order a double Jack on the rocks.

SBD was a helluva an aircraft. I have seen videos of those guys making their dive runs against Japanese ships...awesome flying!!
I have read accounts of the Enterprise pulling back into Pearl the day after...I understand Bull Halsey just said let's get right back out and find them.
I was part of a plot to go in on a Stearman with some buddies but the wife shut that down pretty quickly. I have a few silk scarf hops in a dual stick Stearman and it is a great way to fly. My uncles learned to fly in that bird. What a magnificent airframe.
I flew the F 16 and the Hawg and there is no question: the best ride in the world is the Warthog. Even better with some dirt bag tangos in your sights.

I spend my life on airplanes and if you did that, most of commercial aviation would fully abandon Orlando McCoy International Airport. There is no more wicked place to fly to in America than MCO. Thousands of people who never have been on an airplane before converging on a destination and wondering why their Volkswagen-sized steamer chest won't fit in the overhead bin. Children who are "going to see Mickey" and have no idea what's in store for them.
On United, row 7 in a 737 or 757 is the place to be as well. It's also nice to get upgraded, in which case row 1 is outstanding! Henry impresses me as a 1B or 1D type of person.

No way. Life's too short!
If you're paying $55.00 round-trip to MCO, your fare probably isn't covering the cost per passenger of the fuel it takes to lift and land you. Which makes me wonder about the quality of the 19-year-old pilot flying the plane or the cut-rate maintenance performed in West Bumfork by minimum wage novice mechanics with knock-off parts from Outer Slobobia.
I woke up and read an email that said they were having a sale. If I could have flown that afternoon my flight to Orlando would have been $1 one way. I wasn't planning a trip and wasn't prepared so I waited until the following week, so it was $25 there and $30 back. Short flight, so it wasn't terrible.

Business travelers break the carryon rule more than anyone. How do i know? I moonlight at the airport. Business travelers are most entitled group i have met. Ask any commercial pilot. They would gladly fly all the complainers up in a tornado if they could
Entitled? Sure. But they know how to get thru TSA. That's the only thing I care about. When I fly with my three kids I hammer home how they need to be ready and quick. My kids are 3, 5 & 7. Just because you have a family or you're old doesn't mean you can stroll thru like other people's time doesn't matter.

Afraid not, big boy. I've flown with my children for years, ever since they were 1. As a kid, I flew with my parents periodically in the Midwest and South.
My children know that flying is a treat and they KNOW how to behave... always have. As parents, we watched them like a hawk and made sure they were sensitive to the people around them. More importantly, we were sensitive to both them and the other people in the plane.
Candidly, when we got off the plane, more often than not we were complimented on how well behaved our children were!
And no, we didn't carry on everything we owned. If I'm in Coach, I know I better check my bags, especially if I'm not in Group 1 or 2. Yeah, I might drag them to the gate so I don't have to pay for it, but they go in the cargo hold. It takes a little longer on the back end, but they get there.
I can't even imagine what would have happened if we got out of line on a plane with my parents..... we just would not do it.

It's called TSA Pre-Check. Applications at any TSA office. Price is $100.00 for five years and security takes about five to 10 minutes. By contrast, at Sea-Tac on Thursday, it was 90 minutes from the end of the line to the security screener in the Delta/United/International terminal (A and N concourses).
My wife and I are both TSA pre-check cleared.
If you want something really special, get Global Entry. It's like $150.00 for five years and also allows you to get expedited clearance through customs on returning to the United States. Global Entry also makes you eligible for TSA Pre-Check.
