Quickly falling apart on offense. Can't rely on 3s to win it.

Four turnover and a 20 footer from Taylor, ugh.

MU dribbling around again on offense, till 10 or so on clock.

SH getting smart and going inside where MU doesn't have the bulk.

well it was a nice start but our offense has quickly reverted back to the mean. if only steve could finish around the rim.......

Just watched the Taylor "travel" again. SHU got ball when he went up. Ref had a clear view and totally botched the call.

Nice drove by Derrick. We need that dribble penetration. I'd like to see more of Steve and Luke together. Luke is getting doubled, like to see him have someone else down low to pass to as a decoy.

Derrick Wilson has made his last 5 free throws and Carlino just banked a 3. Something is in the water in NYC.

I have no previous name. Long time reader, first time poster. I decided someone needed to mediate between "Derrick Wilson is a great true pg" and "Derrick Wilson is the worst player in CBB history"

I believe Derrick gets too long a leash along with Carlino because of age and Duane and JJJ don't get long enough leashes because they are young. Just an observation. Im not sure if its better or worse for the team.

MU up 18 with 2:30 to go.  Three missed threes, turnover and a miss frontend by Derrick.

MU bailed out by Taylor heave. Very lucky......  Not a good closing, but great half.

JJJ played like two minutes.  Cohen hasn't played since his crying two games ago.

I understand. I never brought up Derrick Wilson initially. I made a comment regarding the quick hook of Duane and JJJ (for each other) early in the game. Then it was immediately suspected I was one of the guys that gets hated on continuously on here. I don't need to read anymore Derrick Wilson conversations on here either. He seems like a great person and we know what we have had in him as our starter for the last 2 years. No need to attack the guys character or game anymore

Derrick gets fouled with 41 seconds to go.
Me:  Aw crap, he's going to miss the front end and Seton Hall is going to come down, hit a 3, and MU is either going to turn the ball over or get a crap shot.
Wife:   I hate it when you do this.
Me:   Just watch.
(missed free throw)
Me:   That's one.
Wife.  Hush.
(Seton Hall hits the 3)
Me:  See?
Wife:  How do you do that?
(STjr throws in that Crap bank 3)
Wife: (snickering)  See, MU did something with the ball.
Me:  C'mon, I was a crap shot.

I said it.   And I stand by it.   Derrick or a player like him would be perfect next year to play 12-15 mpg at the point, mentor Carter, and help bring along the young guys.  The role he was born for, not the role he has had to play the last two years.

I really believe it is his emotions after that turnover few games ago and he actually looked liked crying.  Hasn't played since.

I saw the play and emotion..but why would Wojo bench him for that?

I think it's more just cuz Sandy isn't ready for the big time yet.

How do I know.  The kid made a terrible turnover and then looked lost, sorry, tears eyed and hasn't played since. Very emotional moment for the young fella.

Here is where I have a problem with Wojo's coaching. We have a 25 point lead, 4 minutes to go, we have to play tomorrow, and Carlino and Derrick have played the whole game. How about some rest.

It really doesn't matter what any coach does, you aren't happy.   However, I agree in this specific case.

No Tower--you are the one that is not. And you know that what Wojo is doing here makes no sense and is a mistake. Calling somebody out for something dumb does not mean one is unhappy.

Great win. Really wish we were the 10 seed. Would love to be playing on Friday night. Even if they somehow managed to stay close to Villanova tomorrow, their pathetic FT shooting guarantees they will lose the game.

You don't not sub just b/c a team is playing well. Has to be more to it. They mentioned a pretty big wrap on Cohen's knee. Maybe that is the explanation for him.

Great win though!
