Quickly falling apart on offense. Can't rely on 3s to win it.
Seen this too many times. Rain a couple early then don't score for 10 minutes.
Route is coming
Four turnover and a 20 footer from Taylor, ugh.
MU dribbling around again on offense, till 10 or so on clock.
SH getting smart and going inside where MU doesn't have the bulk.
well it was a nice start but our offense has quickly reverted back to the mean. if only steve could finish around the rim.......
Just watched the Taylor "travel" again. SHU got ball when he went up. Ref had a clear view and totally botched the call.
Four traveling calls already...ugh

I certainly didn't see a travel on that play.
Need to pick up the offense definitely. Does seem like a rerun though.
Will be so glad when Duane especially, and JJJ to some extent, don't have quick leashes.
Wojo calling for dunks - a good sign!
Two fouls on Whitehead.
SHU is terrible
Nice drove by Derrick. We need that dribble penetration. I'd like to see more of Steve and Luke together. Luke is getting doubled, like to see him have someone else down low to pass to as a decoy.
THE BANK IS OPEN!
The bank is open, we'll take it
When's the last time we had a 5 point possession?
Derrick Wilson has made his last 5 free throws and Carlino just banked a 3. Something is in the water in NYC.
Put it on the floor Derrick
Get some offensive momentum and Derrick takes a 3.
It's gonna be multiplication by subtraction next year
I think Derrick's three was blocked there. Tough to tell even on replay.

Because he's open. He's hit that shot more than a couple times this year. Defender just closed out really well.
Carlino has a big set of balls to take that. Wow way past NBA mark.

I have no previous name. Long time reader, first time poster. I decided someone needed to mediate between "Derrick Wilson is a great true pg" and "Derrick Wilson is the worst player in CBB history"
I believe Derrick gets too long a leash along with Carlino because of age and Duane and JJJ don't get long enough leashes because they are young. Just an observation. Im not sure if its better or worse for the team.
This is a very nice start. Enjoy it, this is likely our "One Shining Moment."
Love to see them playing like Warriors!!!!

Maybe just extra sensitivity due to this argument becoming the "norm" -- over and over and over. This place has been nice the last couple weeks. You know?
MU up 18 with 2:30 to go. Three missed threes, turnover and a miss frontend by Derrick.
MU bailed out by Taylor heave. Very lucky...... Not a good closing, but great half.
JJJ played like two minutes. Cohen hasn't played since his crying two games ago.
Keep it up boys....

I understand. I never brought up Derrick Wilson initially. I made a comment regarding the quick hook of Duane and JJJ (for each other) early in the game. Then it was immediately suspected I was one of the guys that gets hated on continuously on here. I don't need to read anymore Derrick Wilson conversations on here either. He seems like a great person and we know what we have had in him as our starter for the last 2 years. No need to attack the guys character or game anymore
Derrick gets fouled with 41 seconds to go.
Me: Aw crap, he's going to miss the front end and Seton Hall is going to come down, hit a 3, and MU is either going to turn the ball over or get a crap shot.
Wife: I hate it when you do this.
Me: Just watch.
(missed free throw)
Me: That's one.
Wife. Hush.
(Seton Hall hits the 3)
Me: See?

Here is where I have a problem with Wojo's coaching. We have a 25 point lead, 4 minutes to go, we have to play tomorrow, and Carlino and Derrick have played the whole game. How about some rest.
It really doesn't matter what any coach does, you aren't happy. However, I agree in this specific case.
2 more
Another assist for Derrick, and Matt en fuego....
Time to start saving these points Carlino.
Seriosly Matt save some for tomorrow!!!

Carlino's looking like Frank White, The King of New York......
Carlino's Way Tonite!
As a Knicks Fan once the tournaments over leave him for Phil Jackson we can use him. Lol

I like that the twins have Otule and Gardner's former numbers.
Walkons getting as much runtime as Sandy.
Great game 3 more to go.
Anyone know what kind of shoes Carlino wears? They're Jordan Brand but can't find which model.
I'm just happy our season continues.
Cohen enters game with walk ons,, wow...... Keep your chin up Sandy, long career ahead

Be hilarious if they wore the same size too

No Tower--you are the one that is not. And you know that what Wojo is doing here makes no sense and is a mistake. Calling somebody out for something dumb does not mean one is unhappy.
I wonder if whitehead thinks he made a wrong decision.
Really curious to hear explanation for JJJ and Cohen not playing real minutes

Ruby Slippers
Great win. Really wish we were the 10 seed. Would love to be playing on Friday night. Even if they somehow managed to stay close to Villanova tomorrow, their pathetic FT shooting guarantees they will lose the game.
Let's do this again next game, hey? ;D

You don't not sub just b/c a team is playing well. Has to be more to it. They mentioned a pretty big wrap on Cohen's knee. Maybe that is the explanation for him.
Great win though!
14 assists for Derrick. Big East tourney record? Holy crap! Going back to the legendary 80's?!?!
