Where did anyone say they wanted a player like Derrick to come in as a grad transfer?

I said a player like Derrick that could hit a three and 70% from the line would be ideal.

Come on guys it's a game thread, not a you know what discussion

It happened.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Really like a basket and defensive stop. Be nice to have a double digit lead and hold someone under 20 for the half.

Oh no... Steve hit a three, now he'll be launching all night.

Come on Derrick. Get it into the post faster. Luke sprints the floor and gets great post position with no help defenders set-up. Lucky bailout by Teve

PGsHeroes32

Thank god for the Steve bank.

Second half is when we collapse. Let's see if this is different.

Someone said they would like Derrick for another season. I just read it, didn't respond.

But I will stop for you guys. No wonder people post outrageous things on here. One deviation from the norm and the whole crew is on your back.

MUFlutieEffect

Nothing like giving the opponent hope right before halftime...

And then taking it all away with a Steve Taylor off-the-glass three!

Seen this too many times. Rain a couple early then don't score for 10 minutes.

Route is coming

Solid prediction so far. Maybe waiting a few more minutes before jumping off the cliff next time?

To properly digest any comment, the process must include consideration of the identity of the poster as well as the content of the post!

Maybe just extra sensitivity due to this argument becoming the "norm" -- over and over and over.  This place has been nice the last couple weeks. You know?

MU up 18 with 2:30 to go.  Three missed threes, turnover and a miss frontend by Derrick.

MU bailed out by Taylor heave. Very lucky......  Not a good closing, but great half.

JJJ played like two minutes.  Cohen hasn't played since his crying two games ago.

Keep it up boys....

MUeng

Really could not have played a better 1st half. Lookin good!

Great half. Don't even need to play great basketball to win, but a nice little half here and let's bring it Nova!

Agree, it was a very good half, they've responded so far. Hope to keep it up in the second half.

I understand. I never brought up Derrick Wilson initially. I made a comment regarding the quick hook of Duane and JJJ (for each other) early in the game. Then it was immediately suspected I was one of the guys that gets hated on continuously on here. I don't need to read anymore Derrick Wilson conversations on here either. He seems like a great person and we know what we have had in him as our starter for the last 2 years. No need to attack the guys character or game anymore

Derrick gets fouled with 41 seconds to go.
Me:  Aw crap, he's going to miss the front end and Seton Hall is going to come down, hit a 3, and MU is either going to turn the ball over or get a crap shot.
Wife:   I hate it when you do this.
Me:   Just watch.
(missed free throw)
Me:   That's one.
Wife.  Hush.
(Seton Hall hits the 3)
Me:  See?
Wife:  How do you do that?
(STjr throws in that Crap bank 3)
Wife: (snickering)  See, MU did something with the ball.
Me:  C'mon, I was a crap shot.
Wife:   But it went in.  Hah.

Nope. Second half is when we fall apart everytime.

Got to keep up the intensity for the 2nd half!!

The big Seton Hall run is coming, boys.  The only question is whether MU can withstand it and what happens after the Pirates catch up.
