Derrick gets fouled with 41 seconds to go.
Me:  Aw crap, he's going to miss the front end and Seton Hall is going to come down, hit a 3, and MU is either going to turn the ball over or get a crap shot.
Wife:   I hate it when you do this.
Me:   Just watch.
(missed free throw)
Me:   That's one.
Wife.  Hush.
(Seton Hall hits the 3)
Me:  See?
Wife:  How do you do that?
(STjr throws in that Crap bank 3)
Wife: (snickering)  See, MU did something with the ball.
Me:  C'mon, I was a crap shot.
Wife:   But it went in.  Hah.

Nice.

Nope. Second half is when we fall apart everytime.
Cmon bro...sound like a true Minnesotan right there.

Losing this game after an 18 point lead with two to go, against this SH team would be, well......

Keep it up guys. Let's get this one.

Gonna break out my lucky Sonoran Salsa for the second half.  Still got some left from my last road trip to milwaukee. Just about bought the inventory at Sentry in Waukesha

Did I miss a reason we haven't seen Sandy?

Someone said they would like Derrick for another season. I just read it, didn't respond.

But I will stop for you guys. No wonder people post outrageous things on here. One deviation from the norm and the whole crew is on your back.

I said it.   And I stand by it.   Derrick or a player like him would be perfect next year to play 12-15 mpg at the point, mentor Carter, and help bring along the young guys.  The role he was born for, not the role he has had to play the last two years.

I really believe it is his emotions after that turnover few games ago and he actually looked liked crying.  Hasn't played since.

I agree with what you said 100% I doubt the 12-15 minutes would ever happen but I'd love Derrick in that role

I saw the play and emotion..but why would Wojo bench him for that?

I think it's more just cuz Sandy isn't ready for the big time yet.

How do I know.  The kid made a terrible turnover and then looked lost, sorry, tears eyed and hasn't played since. Very emotional moment for the young fella.

I'm sorry... did i just hear "great reffing in the big east this year"? How much did the conference pay to have that said?

LloydsLegs

grazi--just speed watched the recorded first half, aand caught up in time for the start of the second.  The corned beef dinner and the score at half no doubt made the wait worthwhile!

Fischer has looked absolutely phenomenal in the last 60-70 minutes of basketball (DePaul and now Seton Hall).
