I put myself first, vote for me!!! I have to go now ... my mom is calling from upstairs.
I'll bet that Little Murs will be bragging big time if he wins this poll. And drinking lots of Kool Aid.
No Ners?
Glad I didn't make the field
ners?
Who is Frenn's Liquor Depot?
willie warrior and 4ever.
And no KW??
My guess is none.
I made the poll twice!

Sorry Melissa....no dice. Best of luck to you on your graduation in 2015 that you may find gainful employment and not need to return home to your parents basement. Unfortunately its a tough economy out there, and even with your dedication to tutoring - and not participating in a fun, social experience such as a game against Creighton - I suspect your people skills are greatly lacking. Could make it tough for you. Takes a lot more than a good GPA. This quote of yours suggests as much:
"Not all students care about the basketball team. I have better things to do this week. Ill try to catch a few minutes of the telecast."
So question for you: If you don't care about the basketball team, and have better things to do this week (such as tutor) why in the hell do you post here??
4never with the early lead out of the gates.
At least he lives in a nice basement in the Quon.
HaywardsHeros, Ners, GoldenBoy, TheUltimateWarrior, and the BluemanGroup (don't remember his real username, but his dad once told him some inside scoop, he's been on the jumbotron, and even on TV).

Actually I do follow the game and team. As I stated later in the thread I've gone to other games this year and previous years. I was just stating that some students don't care and don't have the same level of enthusiasm as many of the regular scoopers. This week my schedule is hectic. The game doesn't fit. Boo hoo. Hmmmm Maybe a "CLUE" might be which one of those are NOT posting right NOW.... Because they are either attending junior or senior High School , maybe even college classes as we post. As Classes might "force" then to get them out of their mom's basement... ;) just sayin'..... :)

Funny thing about this thread though. Back in the day I knew about 4 people who you would say over stayed their welcome with mother and father....every one of them had an upstairs bedroom.

Nice. LOL. As for my day...I took the ride down the elevator 30 stories in the building I live, enjoyed an hour at Starbucks, took care of necessary e-mails, and just finished a 75 minute hot yoga class. Heading out to have lunch with some friends and can't wait till tipoff tonight.
It's a good life when you start your own business, and it goes well. I get to make my own schedule, and have a ton of flexibility and free time as I have great people who work in my company. Being able to delegate, and show confidence in people - that you as an owner/founder have trust and confidence in their ability to do the job well - inspires people, and is mutually beneficial. If you ever start/own a business - always remember: The employee is more important than any other aspect of owning a business - more important than the customer...more important than investors/shareholders. Treat your employees great, recognize their performance with recognition, and awards - and you have a formula for success in business - so long as your product/service are also very good - to world class. You can survive on very good product/service....if you have great people. If your people aren't very good...your offering better be world class.
That's my wisdom for you today, and what I've learned since leaving MU in 1997. I also learned that you have to take time for the fun in life, and I'm actually genuinely sorry for you that your hectic schedule won't allow for you to find a way to go to the game..and support the team you are a fan of...there's only a handful of nights in a 4-year college career a Top 10-15 teams comes to town...

Entrepreneurship has been the engine of America's economy since the first Chartered companies established colonies in the 16th Century. Anyone who takes the risk and sweats out cash flow on a daily basis deserves our respect. Making payroll, accounts payable, taxes, personnel challenges, business development... guys like Ners deal with these things in a way no corporate worker ant ever does.
Economic growth, job creation, and value generation largely come from entrepreneurship. MNCs grow because of the spark provided by small enterprise.
Ners assumed the risk and enjoys the reward. There is nobility in that as he has generated value in his local economy. We should respect that. I know Ronald Reagan is smiling.
I do respect it. Greatly in fact. My comment was that while he may not be the richest guy, he's got his own thing that allows him to live the life he wants. That's great success to me. Others only care about dollars and cents.
