Oh, the irony...
3-15 shooting for MU and Wilson not a factor...hope we can find a way to pull out the W.
Out-hustling them and not turning it over. By golly, that's a recipe for winning so long as we don't continue to shoot 19%.
We can't hit a lick as usual but we are dominating the other facets. A lot more depth and even though backcourt is uconn strength we may get all their bigs in foul trouble.
3 for 15 from field. Now Vander has 2 fouls, so Thomas playing for Lockett (0 for 3).
Capt A, still got a household of inlaws here. Mrs chili still on broomstick

Another great start for J. Wilson. no points, no shots, two fouls. Gardner will see alot of pt this first half.

Beautiful seeing Stevie Taylor out there!
Nice "pass" by Jake to Taylor.
True about Lockett at least trying but I'm guessing he's 0-7 or 8 today. We may break the nuggets mark for most 3s missed without a make.

Need to stop their transition game, they rely on it and it's working too well. Trent Brick-itt needs to make a shot or pass them up.

Seriously? Lockett's making great cuts to get open, but he's not making his shots (0-7), and he's failed to get back on D a couple of times. I'll agree on Taylor, but Lockett hasn't earned much more time than Jamil right now.
MU sneezes around Napier and they are called for a foul.

Had to go pirate mode and use the euro site. I think I'm screwed cause I'm using my old sign in on E 3 despite moving out of Milw.
Jamil who?
If seeing Steve Taylor perform strongly in his role isn't enough to get Jamil motivated - not sure what will.
Lockett needs to see a few shots go in, but at least the guy is playing hard...which it just doesn't seem like Jamil does.
Steve takes and makes the type of shot jamil is supposed to look for regularly.
I'd actually like to see Jamil and Steve get a little play at the same time. We could run some on O.

I'm being serious. If you look at the very end of our bench, then go up a few rows there is a guy about 3rd or 4th from the end that looks just like Buzz. I turned the game on very late, so if it's him and they said it, sorry...missed it. I assume he's not even allowed in the building, but when Napier scored when splitting our defense this guy in the crowd did the old "traveling" call and it sure looked like him.

Taylor at least. Still has to figure out some things on defense, but only going to get better. He can't be only getting the stoppage minutes he's seen against good competition before tonight, too talented.
It was GREAT to see Steve T get the ball at the high post. He looked so gosh darn confident with it and did exactly the right thing. Result: High percentage 15 footer and score. Now, let's do it more and I agree with the previous comment that JW has to somehow be motivated by the coaching staff to do the same damn thing.

This is the point in the game where MU's defense disappeared against Butler and UW-Green Bay. Hope they make stops on D the last 10 minutes.
We are an absolutely horrible shooting team.
This will turn out to be a freethrow contest.
0 for 11 from three and can't control Napier.
10 point lead gone very quickly.
After the Rick tribute, Ellis is starting to get old.
Vander you are not Shabazz!!!
STOP SHOOTING 3 POINT SHOTS!!!!!
Oh my god Cadougan. That 3 attempt was embarrassing.
This is absolutely embarrassing
Blue miss three off a steal, then Napier. Then a Junior brick from three. Just terrible, terrible.
Believe thats 0 for 14 from three.
1. Terrible shot selection by Vander.
2. Can someone guard Napier?
Vander, Lockett and Junior all had good opportunities to dump it to Gardner on right block and chose not to, instead launching 3's (with the exception of Lockett.) Awful.
How about throw it into the big mofo when he has post position, grinding on the block instead of calling for a ball screen pick to chuck up another horrible brick 3 pointer? Ugh, frustrating.
Oh heck, I could do the smart thing and feed DG, but no, let's do something low percentage, instead.
That's how you lose games you should win. >:(
Good....they sat Vander for the terrible 3, and not getting Gardner the ball, and not closing out on Napier very well after the missed terrible 3.
Wish we had a guard like Napier...he's having a great game.
Once again, however, UConn is getting points almost every trip on offense. D disappearing again down the stretch.
Refs calling everything. Like I said, free throw contest from now in.
Back to back stupid plays by Gardner and Mayo, followed by a BS foul call.
WTF! Stupid TO on the fast break and then a weak foul off the ball. Come on.
How do we not go into Gardner every time right now. His man has 4 fouls. Keep going at him.

Gardner has gave up a lot today he gets tire and then does nothing. He gave up at least 10 points on D, because he got tired and gave up. Did the same at the end of the half on O.
He's important to this team and his FTs have kept us in this, but he has not had a good game. Maybe he is sick.

And then jw does that

Trent just found his mojo.
MU shoots two for 16 from three and wins. One the Junior dagger, the other Blue banker. Wow.
Lockett does nothing whole game and then has a block and big rebound. Good for him.
Wilson had 7 rebounds and MU beat UCONN on boards by 12.
Napier goes ballistic. Do teams ever do the "box and one" anymore?
